that's how long the people of darfur have been suffering.
starting in 2003, the sudanese government hired a militia to wipe out the people of darfur.
over 2 million people have been displaced.

what do you think of when you think of genocide? you think it's no big deal right? or do you no know what to think? do you think it's over, not happening?
you're wrong.
Genocide is very real.
The people in a region called Darfur in Sudan, Africa are being wiped out by their own government.
why are they doing this? because the peaople of darfur are non-arab.
and what is it called when a group of people are trying to destroy another group like non-arabs?

Genocide. Intentive destruction of a race or religion, inocent people dying. Ever heard of the holocaust? That was a genocide. Right now, there are people in Sudan who are dying because their militants and government want the land and the oil used for OUR homes and schools. THIS is a genocide going on RIGHT NOW. And I need your help to stop it.
