-My Aunt dieing at 26.

I ThoughtYou...
Were the one that really cared about me.
Were the one that i looked up to, and wanted to do everything with.
Would always be by my side, and would hold my hand through it.
were the one who ALWAYS had by back through the worst times.
Knew just the right things to say, to make me feel like the best daughter in the world.
Were the one to take me on motorcycle rides, and play soccer in the backyard.
i guess i was wrong.

My Life.. The Early Years..
Chapter 1:
I walked into the country style home. By the look of the mess in the kitchen, you can tell a sponge had not touched anything in over 2 weeks. My Mom follows behinds us, our suitcases in hand. I stand awkwardly in the middle of the kitchen, not knowing what to do with myself. I have only ever been to this house twice, but i knew this was one of the last times. My Mom led us into the living room, where my Uncle, Cousins, and half unconsious Aunt were. My aunt was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, Stage 4. She wasn't able to do anything, not even move. She was so weak. I never understood why her hair started to fade, and why the fat seemed to fall off her body. But, after seeing her then, I never got that picture out of my mind. I still have those thoughts in the back of my mind. We celebrate her birthday, even though it's been nearly 7 years. The pain never goes away. She lay on the couch, barely able to open her eyes. I hear a slight whisper, coming from somewhere, and I notice it's her, she's talking to me. "You girls are beautiful." she whispered, with a slight grin, that was full of pain. To this day, I remember that. Those words being spoken to me. Aunt Jamie, if you are watching me write this, YOUR BEAUTIFUL. Your the most beautiful person i have ever met, inside and out.

Here's to the kids who:
Have to pack a bag to go back and forth to each house.
Know more about their parents than they should.
Have to deal with constant heartbreak from a new girlfriend/boyfriend leaving again.
Are in the middle of a battle between their parents.
Are more mature than their parents at times.
Hope to not make the mistakes that their parents did.
But also, here's to the kids who's parents actually
mean't it when they said through sickness, and
in health, as long as they both shall live.

worst Mothers Day. My Mom is in the hospital,
