Today,
Me and my mom were at walmart, in the card section looking for a birthday card for my brother, and next to us was an elder man. The man was looking for an anniversary card, and then my mom asked, "for you?". The man replied with, "I wish. My wife passed away." My mom said, "I'm sorry". The man replied with, "we were married for 42 years, 3 months, and 2 weeks". By the look on his face, and the way he spoke, you could tell that he truely loves and misses his deceased wife.

I’m not perfect, I never will be. I will never be a size two, stick thin model type. I have curves, and they are beautiful. I like wearing sweatpants and T-shirts. Sometimes I get lazy and don’t do my make up. But you know what? I don’t care. I know I am beautiful and it’s my imperfections that make me beautiful. I’m done trying to strive for society’s standards of beauty. I am good enough so just accept me the way I am. I couldn’t ask for more. I am beautiful, I am happy and I am worthy of love.

Stop crying. Pick your head up and realize that he's not worth it. Wipe off the eyeliner marks down your cheeks. In fact, take off all the makeup you have on right now. Undo your hair, and throw it up in a bun. Throw on a t-shirt and sweatpants. &' SMILE, because someone else might be falling in love with that beautiful smile of yours.
