This is beautiful! Try not to cry...
Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"
The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."
Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"
The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good-bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.
"Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked.
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."
Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:
"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good-bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.
Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm, sure the food will be great.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

    Mature Eyes Only."
    Okay when you read this.................
really think about it and what it means. Thanks!
Why do we sleep in church,
but when the ceremony is over we suddenly wake up?
Why is it so hard to talk about God,
    but so easy to gossip
Why are we so bored when we look at a Christian magazine,
but find it easy to read Playboy?
Why is it so easy to ignore a Godly myspace message,
Yet we repost the nasty ones?
    Why are churches getting smaller,
But bars and clubs are growing?
Think about it, are you going to repost this?
Are you going to ignore it, cause you think you'll get laughed at?
Just remember God is always watching you.
The Lord said: "If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you in front of my father".

    Lesson 2
    Learning to Smile
Today, a man went to the golden gate bridge. He stood there for awhile just looking at the people there. He would always smile at them, but no one smiled back because they thought he was crazy. That day, the man on the bridge jumped off the bridge and committed suicide.
The police went to his apartment to investigate. They found out that he had no family members and no friends. One of the officers went to his dresser. There, he found a note folded over and addressed to the police.
The officer opened it. It read:
I am going to the Golden Gate Bridge today.
If no one smiles at me, I will jump off the bridge.
Some of us don't realize how powerful a smile is. Well, open your eyes and see, that smile can be so strong that it might just save a person's life.

    The Handprint on My Heart
    A Story By K.S. Davis
    Preface
December 2, 2009. That was the day my heart was erased. There was nothing left. Of course the outer rim of it was still there, but the inside, it was gone. The bright red color of it . . . gone. The musical beat of it . . . gone. THe purpose of it . . . gone.
The earth turned into a black hole that day. It was the day my love, my fate, my sole mate and everything about me . . . died. He left without a warning, without a sign. I soon hit the floor of the black hole. I sat there in the cold darkness, ready to die and be with him again.
There were many people here as well. Many were sad and upset, but most of us had no emotion. We couldn't feel anymore. I was glad that other people knew how I felt. Ordinary people wouldn't even think of fearing this kind of pain. The pain that was so hurtful that you couldn't feel anymore.
Before this, I would have never thought of anything like this. I loved life and I loved the people in it. But now? I couldn't feel anything, especially love. It began with hatred, but then nothing.
I watched as more people filled this black hole. People who probably didn't even know yet. They were all probably having a bad dream.
That's how I was warned. Of course, not a lot of people are smart enough to listen, including me. I thought about it many times, but never could have possibly thought of this outcome.
Many people vanished every second. They woke up, but I bet you they didn't imagine would ever return. They would go back to their regular lives, thinking nothing would go wrong.
I shook my head and a tear fell down my cheek. How could this have happened?
Someone kicked me on my back and my heart flew out of my chest. It didn't heart. Remember? I can't feel.
I looked at my heart and gasped. Imprinted in my heart was the shape of a hand. His hand. The heart shimmered, and out of no where, my heart regained its color. The thumping started again, and I heard his voice. He was here, with me, forever. I traced his finger lines and realized for the first time . . . I will always have his handprint on my heart.
I will try to post Chapter One soon. Keep Readin!

    Lesson 1
    Learning to Love
I woke up this morning and saw two baby birds learing how to fly. They were scared, I could tell, but thier mother wasn't. She pushed the birds to the end of the nest and nudged them to go on. The two babies just sat there looking down at the ground below them. They starred for along time untill the mother pushed them off the edge. Being that it was thier first try, they fell to the ground. This happened many times. The birds were helpless. They tried one more time, when the mom refused to let them give up. They jumped off the egde of the nest and fell to the ground again, but this time a fox ran up to the baby birds and ate them.
Through this whole story, you feel bad for these helpless birds and at the end, you begin to hate the fox. We care for creatures like these birds and yet, we don't care for our own kind. We are scared of homeless men, women, and children when we should be scared for them. We ignore fat and obese, when we should be helping them get heathy. We don't like people who are different because of thier backround, yet we should have their backs all the way. We care for other things more than we do for our own. What does that say about us? So next time you see a bird, think about this lesson and give smile to a fat women, offer a dollar to a homless person, or simply just tell someone that you care.
