Hey there! My name is Zoe, pronounced Zoey but without the y. All the quotes on here are mine, I just don't always like adding the "all mine" at the bottom. I feel as if it takes away from the meaning of the quote. However, if I have a quote similar to another one, I probably didn't know about it otherwise I would have quoted someone else. So I apologize in advance if that occurs. I like the color orange, I like food, (oh, water too :] ) and I absolutely love helping people, listening to them, or giving advice. I'm always willing to listen, even if I don't know you. So if you ever need someone to talk to you can always ask me :) Some of the stuff I put on here is not always what I really think, and I always welcome critism and opinions of others. Glad I could join everyone here on Witty and know there are others who I can share my feelings with :)

My boyfriend doesn't always know to give me his sweatshirt when he sees that I'm cold. He doesn't always hold me or kiss me in front of his friends like many girls want their guy to do. He doesn't always run up behind me and hug me and whisper in my ear that he loves me. He doesn't always bring me flowers after we've had a big fight.
But you know what else?
He's him. And when he kisses me, it's worth more to me than a million of those sweet little gestures. And as long as we have us, then that's just fine with me. <3

Pro-Choice
There's a reason I'm for it. It's called pro-CHOICE. Meaning that the people who want to have abortions can have them while not restricting the rights of others, in case they don't want to have one. Because frankly, I was always taught that it's not my job to force decisions on other people.

Depression
is like a vortex.
I'm struggling to keep from being completely swallowed up.
I'm trying to create happiness in everything I do,
but it's not working.
I can't find the words to express my feelings other than this.
I feel stressed all the time.
I feel vulnerable.
I feel alone and overwhelmed.
And nothing ever seems to go right.
I realize that there is happiness that still exists in my life, and I am still able to smile and laugh and mean it.
I'm trying my best to climb out of this hole and I understand that happiness is possible,but somehow something goes wrong and I slip right back to where I was.
