Jason.. I got into college. Three of them, actually. I even got a few academic scholarships. I joined a firehouse, too, as an EMT and exterior firefighter. I wish I could actually talk to you and tell you this.. I'm so excited. You were right; I am turning out okay.

I'm so sorry. Life is hard, and we have to go through pain everyday. People self harm as a way of escaping, letting physical pain wash away the emotional pain. Trust me, I know from experience. It's not your fault. Stay strong, and if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'll be here...

you might not see this but i just read your whole story and i cried. i'm so sorry. you probably cant even describe how you are right now. this is a huge change to you for only being still a kid. this totally changed my life. if you do see this just know everyone is here for you and your the strongest and most caring person alive.
