I know it's hard to believe, but she cared. She cared a lot. She cared a lot about you. She's not perfect, she knows that, but she loved you, remember that. She still does. She probably still will, after she leaves and goes her way, she's still gonna care.

You are blessed to still have life, you were blessed with the gift of waking up this morning, and you have a chance to make your life better. The mistakes that you have made in your past, should be left in your past. Little do many of us realize but nobody is perfect. As a matter of fact, life just wouldn't be life if we were perfect. There would be no room for growth, and we would live our lives with no direction and no purpose.

So you think by saying mean stuff is going to hurt me? I don't even care anymore. Say what you want to say and do what you want to do. No one's stopping you. You want to talk behing my back? Go right along. After all you're going to be put in a position that you'll regret it. It's sad how you hate it when someone says something about you or becomes all judgemental on you, you fill the world up side down. But guess what, you want to be treated right? Then you sure have to treat people the way you want to be treated, got that?

You know what? Yes I've changed. I'm not as nice as I used to be, because I don't want to get used, or walked over. I don't trust everyone and tell them my secrets. I distance myself from people, because in the end, they're only going to leave. I've changed because I've realized that I'm the only person I can depend on.

And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is just moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this: knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment, you never gave up hope.

It's like all the bad stuff you've went through, the people who've disappointed you and the things that didn't go your way.. Suddenly you feel grateful for them, because those are the things that got you here. Those are the things that made you strong. Those are the things that helped you learn who you can trust, who you can depend on and those are the things that showed you what it's like to struggle, but in the end turn out just fine.
