    the perfect lie
    chapter two
"Anna...ANNA!" Someone was shouting my name. I groaned, and got out of my car. I had just pulled into school and parked and someone already wanted something from me. I slammed my car door shut, and locked it.
I looked around the campus, where students were walking around and talking. I saw a flash of red and the next thing I knew I was being sufficated in a hug by my friend, Hailey. She released me, and stood back and examined my outfit, a white tank top with a pink floral skirt with silver gladator shoes. I was wearing black flower earrings with a silver diamond heart necklace (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=38535518). My black hair was straightened to perfection and my layers and side-bangs looked perfect.
"I'll give you an 8, points off for looking better then me!" She squeled. I rolled my eyes, Hailey tries to hard. She used to be picked on when she was younger so she makes sure to compliment me, in fear of going back to being a loser. "Thanks Hailey, you look great to" I replied. We walked into the school. So many people tried to talk to us while we were walking, but I ignored them all. I just wanted to find where my locker was.
"My locker is 2473, where's yours?" I asked Hailey. But she was busy talking to someone else, so I sighed and walked away. I found my locker, which was pretty far away from my classes according to my scedule. That would have to change.
I dialed the combination, 25-45-23 and opened it. A note fell out, and I bent down to pick it up.

    the perfect lie
    chapter one
I had a red cup in my hand, and I took a sip. It burned going down, and everything became fuzzy. It felt wonderful. so I took another sip. And another.
People, loud music, suddenly Alyssa was right in front of my face saying "You'll regret this"
"Anna Lynn! Wake up! This isn't summer camp anymore! Wake up already! First day!"
My Mom's shrill voice, invaded my fuzzy head, and I woke up. My dream confused me, but oh well.
I climbed out of bed, and rubbed my eyes. Oh joy, first day back to school. I plugged my ipod in, and started playing Eminem. It always helps me get awake.
I sighed, and turned on my straightener. While I was straighting my hair, I let my mind wander.
Summer camp. What a fun 3 months it can be. You can let go of all your fake identies from your life and just be yourself. I was able to ditch my hair straightener, my makeup, and all these stupid tight shirts for 3 months. I I could laugh as loud as I wanted, and I didn't have to compete with anyone. For 3 months, I relaxed at a co-ed camp.
It was mostly laid back, fishing, tubing, nature stuff, sports, just all these different activities for kids ages 13-18. It was all good and peaceful, until that last night.
