Depression
It's more than just a word or a state of being
It's my biggest enemy
It's the reason why I spent a year of my life in tears every night
It's the reason why I feel worthless sometimes
It's the reason why I hurt a person that means the world to me
It's the reason why I thought it was okay to take a razor to my ankles
It's the reason why I wanted to die
It's my biggest obstacle, but

I will never forget the time we laid on your bathroom floor.

I've learned to accept the fact that life isn't perfect.

You don’t know this but
I sleep with that blanket every single night because it
still smells a tiny bit like you. I love your smell. I get
so excited on the bus ride to school because I know
that soon I’ll get to see your perfect blue eyes. I love those eyes.
Looking at your hands still give me butterflies.
Those are the hands that wiped my tears when I cried.
I love your soft, gentle hands. & When you sit behind
me in class I purposely move my around; I keep thinking
that maybe you’ll smell my hair and remember all the times
we just held each other.
Maybe you’d remember that you love me.

I’m evil because I got in an argument with someone

But in reality:
I’m crazy because you’re ignorant
