|Chapter Five|
Besides the whole spilling my lunch on the queen bee thing my first day was pretty good! I made some great friends and I've decided I'm going to try out for the school soccer team. I just walked inside when a small pair of arms wrapped around my legs.
"I missed you Kelly!" Andrea squealed.
"I missed you too you little monkey!" I ruffled her hair and she stuck out her tounge. Ever since she was little and we brought her to the zoo she always loved monkeys. So now I always call her my little monkey, I'm not gunna lie I adore my little sister.
"Hey hun, how was your first day?" my mum asked.
"It was actually pretty good! I made four new friends and one enemy. But the goods weigh out the bad." I said plopping down on the couch in our living room.
"You made friends! That's so great sweety!" my mom said sitting down next to me with a book in her hands.
"Well tonight we're having dinner with our neighbor Anne. She called last night and wanted to welcome us to the nieghborhood."
"Oh well that was sweet of her. What time are we heading over?" I asked.
"She said around six so you've got a while, but make sure you wear something cute. She's got a son your age." my mom winked.
"Oh my god mom!" I got up and went to my bedroom. My mom is so weird, she acts like she's more of a friend then my mother, but not in a bad way. So I guess I should wear somehting nice considering this is my first time meeting these people and they are kind enough to serve us dinner. So I headed to my walk in closet and found one of my favorite dresses. It's not really fancy but it's definatly cute. I paired them with a cute pair of shoes after changing I put on a little bit of makeup and then curled my hair. After checking myself out in the mirror I have to say, I did a really good job! After we got Andy cleaned up and told her to be on her best behavior we walked to our neighbor's house. I knocked on the door and a lady with long brown hair opened the door. She gave us a warm smile and shook my hand as well as my mother's, "Oh I'm so glad you guys could make it! I know this is sort of old fashioned but I think it would be nice." she smiled.
"Oh this is very sweet of you Anne. These are my daughter's Kelly and Andrea." she gave Andy a little push and she held out a hand as we taught her to do. Anne put a hand on her heart, "Oh my goodness you are so cute!" she smiled. Andrea giggled and Anne lead us to the kitchen where a big table was set up with chicken salad, and italian bread, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots.
"It smells yummy!" Andrea said sitting down at the table.
"Why thank you." Anne smiled. I really like her she seems like such a sweet person. We all took a seat at the dining room table and Anne excused herself as she turned the corner to another room. I could hear her walk up some stairs and she came back down with five boys on her heels. No let me rephrase that, five exrtemely hot boys on her heels. And another girl came down with them as she took a seat across from me. She held out a hand and introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Gemma, nice to meet you." she gave me a polite smile.
"That's a really pretty name, I'm Kelly." she gave me a big smile and then shook my moms hand and gave my little sister a wave.
"Hello I'm Harry Styles, this is Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis." he pointed to each boy.
"Nice to meet you all. Are you all brothers?" I asked.
"No we're in a band together. Ever heard of One Direction?" The blonde one, Niall asked.
Oh wait I have heard their song on the radio!!
"Oh yeah! Okay I've heard your single What Makes You Beautiful, good song." I gave them a smile. They all beamed back at me and then Harry looked down at my little sister.
"Well hello love, what's your name?" He asked and Andy giggled.
"I'm Andrea, you look like a monkey!" she laughed. All the boys laughed and Harry just quirked an eyebrow,
"I do? Well maybe it's the hair..." he said playing with one of his curls. I tried not to laugh but somewhat failed. My mom gave my little sister a glare and then apologized to Harry.
Me, Andrea, and hte boys all ended up eating in the living room and got to know eachother. We were in the middle of a conversation when Andrea butt in,
"You know you guys talk funny." I bit my lip trying not to laugh because I was thinking the same exact thing.
"We do not!!" Louis scoffed.
"Do to!"
"Do not!!"
"Do to!!!"
"Do nottttt!"
"Do tooooooo-"
"Okay!! Yes Andrea they talk funny but it doesn't sound funny to them only to us." I laughed clamping a hand over her mouth.
"You think we talk funny?" Niall stuck his bottom lip out.
"What? Don't tell me you don't think we talk funny!" I raised an eyebrow.
"Well I- yeah no I do think you sound funny." he laughed.
"That's what I thought!" I laughed.
"We don't talk funny." Louis pouted hanging his head down.
"Awww don't be sad boobear!" Harry hugged him and Louis fake cried into his shirt. Andrea got up from her seat and tugged on Louis' shirt.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry." she frowned giving him a hug. Louis hugged her back and then sat her on his lap.
"Well I forgive you, but as your punishment you get a visit from....the tickle monster!!!" he screamed tickling Andrea's sides. She giggled and squealed and eventually all the boys joined in. I watched as Harry played with my little sister and couldn't help but think he was super cute. I mean his curls, OH MY GOD his freaking CURLS. I just want to run my hand through his hair ughhh.
Harry cleared his throat, and then smirked.
"You know it's not polite to stare."
