Today, for the first time since my depression, I had suicidal thoughts.
I got into a huge fight with my dad, and after he slapped me in the face, I ran to my room and sobbed for hours.
The first song on the radio was Paradise by Coldplay and I broke into more tears.
But it made me thing that even when life gets heavy, you've got to keep going and stay strong.
So yes, it is true, music does save lives.

Yes you, with those beautiful eyes reading these boring words, you. You mean more to someone than you know. You may have a perfect relationship, a broken heart, or a wondering eye, but you do mean something to someone. Somewhere in this world, is someone who is looking for someone exactly like you. There's just one problem: There isn't anyone exactly like you. Maybe someone who looks the same, who acts the same, but no one is excatly like you. You're one of a kind. It doesn't matter what your background is, what type of family you come from, what your grades are, your height, weight, sexuality. They may have gotten off track, but someone is looking for you.
So wither you're having a great day, or one that brings tears to your eyes, I want you to know this:
You are beautiful. You are your own kind of perfect. You are you, and don't let anything ever make you think otherwise.
