Today, for the first time since my depression, I had suicidal thoughts.
I got into a huge fight with my dad, and after he slapped me in the face, I ran to my room and sobbed for hours.
The first song on the radio was Paradise by Coldplay and I broke into more tears.
But it made me thing that even when life gets heavy, you've got to keep going and stay strong.
So yes, it is true, music does save lives.
"When she was just a girl, she expected the world. But it flew away from her reach, so she ran away in her sleep, and dreamed of para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise, every time she closed her eyes.
When she was just a girl, she expected the world. But it flew away from her reach, and the bullets catch in her teeth. Life goes on, it gets so heavy. The wheel breaks the butterfly. Every tear a waterfall. In the night, the stromy night, the stormy night, she closed her eyes and dreamed of para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise.
So lying underneath the stormy skies, she said 'Oh, I know the sun was set to rise.'
This could be para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise. This could be para-para-paradise, ohhhh."
