Yes! It's incredibly annoying, especially since I'm the one who went through it. "God" didn't do anything, and he doctors deserve all the credit.

Exactly! "God" didn't save all of the people from the burning building, the fire fighters and police men did.
It must be extremely annoying and self demeaning as a doctor when someone thanks god instead of a doctor for curing them.
