Letter To Me
To be read in the future written by the past, about the current events from the past that were then influencing your life. Hopes and wishes, promises you made yourself and just remembering.
I hope that you feel better about Rusty by this time and I also hope you never forget that always loving, always happy pup, who may have made you angry sometimes but always made you smile. Remember the time he ate your sandwich after you dropped it on the floor or whenever you guys would go on walks and he always walked in a zigzag, never in a straight line. (: Funny how it wasn't a boy, or a bad day, or a bad grade that taught you how to cry again, it was the death of your dog, I'm very proud of you for being able to cry again it means you have a heart and you can feel things. Please never forget him and when you have a bad day remember how even after he had a bad day he was still always happy. Try to be the person like the dog, make him your inspiration to be a better person. I am also hoping that Future Me didn't give into Cole. Please say you didn't! I know that you're strong, but I also know that you loved the way he smiled, and stared with that intense look at you with those green eyes man how they made you melt once upon a time. And how he would tickle and tease and play. Remember it, learn from it just don't dwell on it. Please? I'm hoping by this time you have another guy in your life, no matter how perfect you thought Cole was for you, but that one bus ride was amazing... wasn't it? I still get butterflies thinking about it now, and maybe you do too? There are other guys out there who don't want just that one thing and will look at you the same and tickle and tease and play the same too. And maybe you did get your actual chance with Cole instead of just dancing around the idea like you two were, and maybe its still going, but the chances of that are and will probably still be very slim. Another thing, I know how much you hate your job, it sucks, the people suck, the work sucks, the money doesn't suck. Hopefully you got your iPod by now. That's what you were saving for. And if you're reading this when you're suppose to be, which you're probably not because of that whole procrastination and forgetfulness it is probably near your birthday, your 16th birthday, one of the BIG ones. Make it count this year, do something you'll never forget and please please please GET YOUR PERMIT! You probably hate not having it more now then you did when you were writing this. Get it as soon as possible and get your license as soon as possible too, make your sophomore year one to really remember. Don't skip out on parties, be there for your friends and family, discover new things, TRY new things. Don't be afraid, be fearless. I hope you have had a great great amazing summer, nice tan? I sure hope so(: and new friends too. Good year at camp also? How was the family vacation??, as much fun as it was suppose to be? Abigail Samantha Way, I hope that you have been nice to everyone you came in contact with since this was written, including dad, Michaela and... David. BLECH Okay, maybe not David we'll just let that one slide. Make the most of your remaining high school years and days. Keep smiling, laughing, being your for the most part happy, funny self and don't let others or life get you down.
Love your Past Self
