Okay, I have a lot of thoughts about Zayn and Perrie Edwards; Zerrie; whatever. The whole relationship is very coincidental and sketchy.
1. During the X-factor last year, when Zayn was saying in interviews that he fancied Perrie and him and all of the boys were telling everyone to vote for them, she didn't say anything. Never came out to say they weren't together, or that she barely knew him. That all changed as soon as they won. She said she wasn't interested in him, that the One Direction guys were "little boys" and she didn't want to date them. She also said the rumours of her and Zayn being together were embarrassing. Very convenient that she kept her mouth shut until they had gotten the votes from One Direction fans and the publicity with being associated with them. Her and Little Mix were trying to distance themselves away from 1D and their fame and fans. They thought they would create their own path without being in anyone's shadow.
2. Fast forward 6 months after they won, and Little Mix realized that they're not as big as they thought they would be. They had no buzz around the group and most people didn't even know about them, and that's in the UK! They had what, 200 000 or 300 000 twitter followers? That's not a lot for a musician. They had no interviews on TV or in newspapers. With their single and album coming out soon, they knew they had to generate some buzz. And what better way than to date a member of the most popular boy band in the world at the moment.
4. They have not been dating for long, less than a month? Remember the secretary in Australia that Zayn was trying to get with? That was only a couple of weeks ago. Don't forget all of the other girls he has hooked up with while on tour in the US and Oz too. That brings me to my next point.
5. They've not been together long, yet they're SO open with their relationship. Discussing it in the media, PDA, tweets about dates. When Louis and Eleanor first started hanging out, Louis was pretty quiet about it and then later said they were seeing each other before starting to date. Harry and Caroline never even came out with their relationship and just kept it a secret. Even Zayn kept his relationship with Rebecca quiet, and his relationship with Stephanie Davis was a secret too. Nobody would have even known about that had she not admitted to it after they broke up. Also, don't forget the interview Zayn did when he said "relationships are quite private and you should keep that to yourself." Here it is:

SInce Zayn had always kept his relationships quiet in the past, why is he all of a sudden so open about this one? Especially so early into the relationship. Doesn't add up.
6. That leads me to the PDA and the pictures of them together. Danielle and Liam have been dating for what? Coming on two years now right? There are absolutely no pictures of them kissing taken by paparazzi. The most we've gotten is two pictures of them holding hands? Even Louis and Eleanor who have been dating for almost a year never had any PDA pictures, until a few days ago at the airport. And those ones you could barely see them kiss. Bottom line is these couples who have been dating for 12 to 24 times longer than Zayn and Perrie have, have no pictures of them kissing while Zerrie have when they've been together a week? Two? interesting.
7. Also, paparazzi are not allowed onto their complex grounds, which is why there's almost never any pictures of them outside of their apartments. So how did this paparazzi manage to get onto the grounds, and get close enough to get good pictures? Seems like it was set up doesn't it?
8. If it wasn't set up, then how do you explain this. Once Zayn and Perrie saw the photographer taking pictures of them, why did they kiss in front of him, making sure he got a picture? Almost all celebrities are very careful not to have any pictures of them kissing their boyfriend/girlfriend. Especially if they are both celebrities and it is the beginning of their relationship. And if there are pictures, most of time they are not the best quality, (far away or not the best angle) because the paparazzi was trying to be secretive and get the picture. However the pictures of them were perfectly clear and close up. Like the photographer was standing very close to them. And it was clear they knew he was there because previously when they were on the scooter, they both looked in the direction of the camera. It was impossible for them not to see it.
9. The interview Little Mix did with This Morning a few days ago, Perrie was very open talking about them dating. She went on and on talking about how she's happy and it's good for them both being in the industry and all of that. Then when the interviewers asked Jesy about her boyfriend Jordan, she only said "yeah" and that was it. When they talked to Jade about Sam, she said "maybe" and that too, was the end of that. I'm not a Little Mix fan so I have no idea how long these girls have been with those guys, but I would bet that it was longer than Zayn and Perrie. So how would it make any sense for Perrie to talk so much about Zayn when their relationship is very new while they kept their relationships quiet? Here's the link to that interview:

Jesy and Jade's boyfriends aren't international celebrities, so they don't have any use in being very public about their relationships. Perrie however, does. Before this whole ordeal, Little Mix weren't doing many TV and newspaper interviews, now all of a sudden they are. Notice how during the interview with This Morning, Perrie is very quick to go from taking about Zayn to talking about being in the studio working on the album which is coming out soon.
11. So how does the publicity work? Well at first they started out with the tweets about them hanging out. Notice Perrie tweeted first. I guess she realized that wasn't enough for people to figure it out. So instead of just coming out and saying they were dating each other, she made sure that the pictures were taken of them kissing. That way, when magazines and newspapers wrote the articles about them dating, they had some nice pictures to prove it.
12. Twitter. Right after the pictures were taken, Perrie, and the rest of the girls deleted their personal twitters in order to tweet from their official Little Mix twitter. They did this so that once people find out about Perrie and Zayn, when they go to look for Perrie's twitter, they'll find Little Mix's instead, and they have a better chance of checking out their music.
13. So, after all the media attention and everything they've gotten, it's created a buzz around Little Mix and their upcoming single and album. I've seen a lot of people post that they had no idea who Perrie or Little Mix were before she started dating Zayn, and now they checked out their music and became fans. That was their whole intention and now it's working.
There you go. That's why I don't ship Zerrie. There are way too many facts indicating that the relationship is being used to get Little Mix publicity for their single and album that's going to be coming out soon. Whether Zayn knows about it or not. reply
