   I just saw a comment on a Youtube video that made me sick.
   It was a video where Demi Lovato was talking about how she struggled with cutting.
   The comment said "She is so brave to cut herself."
   No.
   Demi Lovato is my inspiration, my reason for living, and I love her more than anything. And she is the bravest person I know of.
   But no.
   She is not brave because she cut herself.
   She is brave because she made it through. She told someone what she was going through and she got help. That is the bravest thing I've ever heard of.
   Never, ever think it is brave to cut yourself. I do it, and it's the most cowardly thing ever, which only makes me do it more. I wish that I could be brave, but I can't.
   Just in case you were misinformed like the person who left that comment.

   And it was... I mean I didn't even understand it when I was doing it. I saw some people at my school had done it. I saw someone on TV do it. And I thought, this is a way to deal with how you're feeling and just, you know, other people were doing it, it's fine.
