she's waiting for something she doesn't know what,
he's up, she's down, they're stuck in a rut.
she days they're fine, others they're not.
where is the love? they both forgot.
the feeling of emptiness won't go away,
even when he says he's here to stay.
crying, lying, they're not even trying.
fighting, lonliness, she feels like dying.
she remembers the beginning when things were sweet.
he sent butterflies through her, head to feet.
she just wants him back to how he was before

I'm a very independent girl and some people think i'm weird
because of it but that doesn't bother me. Just because i'm
not afraid to stand up for what i believe in when everyone
else is sitting down, that's no reason to follow the crowd.
Because maybe, just maybe, I'll make someone's life better
