dear wittiers,
i know there are times for some of you when you feel like just giving up. the days you don't want to get out of bed. the days you don't want to have to be afraid of running into those popular girls who live by destroying your life, or seeing his face again, or whatever your case may be.
i know that you think this is just another quote done by a person looking for faves, but i want so much more than that. i want you to realize that no matter what anyone says, you are beautiful. I don't care if you can't play sports, I don't care if you don't get staright A's, I don't care if you can't afford brand name clothing, I don't care if you have cancer, I don't care if you're not rail thin, I don't care if you don't wear make-up, I don't care if you're not a supermodel, I don't care if you have depression, and I don't care if you're shy. Suicide
I know some of you have thought about it.
let me tell you a story
last October, my childhood friend's older sister committed suicide. She didn't know it, but she was my role model. She was beautiful, smart, talented, everything I always wanted to be. She was going to college for pyschology. Her dream was to help Soldiers get over the horrible things they would see while fighting for our country. Then we get a call the day before Halloween, saying she had hung herself in her dorm closet.
Ever since then, I haven't been able to sleep at night. I have produced depression and anxiety. Every day I get this feeling that if only she knew just how much she meant to me, she wouldn't have done it.
Don't do it. Because somewhere out there, you mean something to someone.
