Dragging On Forever #1
"L-La-Lance," Aria stumbled over her words, "You're scaring me. You know I love you. Why can't I see him?" Aria scanned the hallway praying for her English teacher would be looking for her because she was late for class. Aria, was never late. She was a star student. She had straight A's and still managed to be the team captain of her travel and school soccer team. To many, she might have been the perfect girl. She was voted home coming queen both her freshman and sophmore year, and she was shoe in for it again this year. However, most people didn't know the problems she was having at home. Her mom was currently in rehab for a drug addiction and her dad was just never there for her. She was the eldest of her two other sisters, and she felt an extra responsibility towards them considering their lack of parental authority. With both her parents practically gone, she felt alone in the world most of the time. Except for when she was with Lance, and when she used to be with Brian. Lance assured her, that she would never find someone who would love her as much as he did. Besides the fact that all her friends protested that idea, Aria believed Lance. Lance had become her everything. He was hers forever.
Still Aria was scared to be in the hallway alone with Lance while he was so mad. The last time he was this mad was when they were in her room alone. Lance and her were making out on the bed. Things were getting pretty heated and Lance was really into it. He lowered her down so she was on her back, and he was on top of her. Kissing her neck and moving his way down. Aria didn't like where this was going, and she tried pushing him away, but Lance thought that was incentive to go further. He started taking off his belt when all of a sudden Aria got a text message. Aria was relieved and reached for her phone. But before she got to it, Lance grabbed the phone. He opened the text and read it. The text message was from George, Aria's male best friend. He stared at the phone and started shaking. Lance looked up at her and read her the text message with gritted teeth. "You're the best Aria," he paused, "i love you." He threw the phone against the door and the phone broke into two pieces. Before Aria could even explain that the text message only said that was because Aria had given George advice on her GIRLFRIEND, Lance slapped her.
Aria shook the memory out of her head. That wasn't the same from the situation they were in now. Lance promised never to hit Aria again. Lance proceeded to explain to Aria that the only reason why he did that was because he thought that he was about to lose Aria and he couldn't manage the thought of it. He even started to cry, and Aria thought he was sincere, and forgave him.
Lance dropped his grip on her and she ran a few feet in front of him. He stared hard at her. "You can't seem him...because I said so," He said scaringly calm.
Aria started to move towards about to protest Lance pushed Aria against the locker, hard. Her head snapped back and hit the lockers first, slowly things started to turn from color to black. She could feel herself slipping, but she couldn't stop it. Everytime she blinked she started to see more and more black. The last thing she saw before everything went black was Lance running towards her.
