Chapter 1
Alexa's POV
I saw him standing there for the millionth time, but saw something different. He had a snapback hat on with his brown curls sneaking out the sides, front, and back. He wore a plain black t-shirt, blue jeans, paired with black converse. I remember thinking that when I got closer and was able to his eyes that he had the most gorgeous brown eyes I have ever seen.
Right now the ice rink is like a second home to me, but in that moment I felt like I was in a brand new home with him by my side. I hadn’t realized I stopped and starred for so long until he finally said, “Alexa, what are you doing.”
I snapped back into reality and just replied “nothing.”
I had completely forgotten that my cousins were here with me and that they saw me just like he did. I looked back and they were just starring at me, I had no idea what I was thinking, but I knew my heart felt it.
I went into the ice rink with my cousins to watch AJohn play hockey, when my phone buzzed.
Eddie: Who is with you?
Alexa: My cousins why?
Eddie: Casue the older one is cute
Alexa: You don’t have a chance
Eddie: What, why??? I’m hot!!
Alexa: She lives in North Carolina.
Eddie: Ohhh, doesn’t matter, I’d rather kiss you instead.
Alexa: What?!?
Eddie: I would rather have you than her
Alexa: Really?
Eddie: Yeah I never new how to tell you the way that I felt so I just left it alone.
Alexa: Ohh well the feeling is mutual
Eddie: Really?!?
Alexa: Yeah ive felt the same way, I didn’t think you thought of me that way so I never acted on it.
Eddie: Can you come out to the lobby for a minute?
I told my cousins I would be right back, not knowing what to expect, but I still went to the lobby. I saw Eddie leaning against the skate rental thingy. I walked up to him and he looked at me with a sparkle in his eyes and said five words I will never forget.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
Note- I know its not the best ending but do you think Alexa will say. By the way this is a true story.
