You may not be her first, her last, or her only.. She loved before and she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She's not perfect, neither are you, and the two of you may never be perfect together, but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she knows you can break her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there.

When you love someone you know. You know because when someone says their name, you smile and get butterflies. You know because when your phone goes off, you hope with every part of your body that it's them. You know because you stay up until 3 in the morning just to be satisfied on hearing their voice. You know because if their mad, you can't eat, or sleep, or think. You know because you feel like you have to impress them, even though you really know they'll accept you for who you are. You know because when they hurt you, you lay on your bed in the dark, with sad songs on repeat, and just cry while replaying every happy moment you ever had together. You know because even though they could break your heart at any minute, you still take the risk and trust them with it. You know because you tell them everything about you knowing they could ruin your life, but you do it anyways. And mostly, because deep down you know you would give anything you had for them to love you back. And if they do, you're it.
