Jason and Allie were the talk of the town.
They have been going out for 3 years and were still going strong. They acted as if they were the only ones around when they were together. That's what people noticed at least, but then on the night before their 4th aniversary Jason broke up with Allie through a text message.
Allie: But why?
Jason: You know why.
Allie: No, otherwise I wouldn't be asking, Jason.
Jason: I...I found someone else.
Allie: I hate you!
Jason: Don't say that.
Allie: But it's true! I can't believe you!
Jason: Allie, I'm really sorry, but I like her more than I like you. I can't live with the lie anymore.
Allie: When did this happen??
Jason: The summer of our second year together. When you left for Spain...
Allie: Okay, I've heard enough. Goodbye, Jason. :'(
Jason: Goodbye, Allie.. </3
The next morning Jason got up to get ready for the first day of school. When he lingered down the stairs for breakfast he heard his parents talking in the living room with the TV on low. He walked into the room with a questioning look on his face... And that's when he saw the news.
"Random act of attempted suicide, Allie Parker. Allie had taken her parents car around midnight last night and drove it down the street before she lost control and crashed into a guardrail. She spun around and the car flipped over a few times before the car finally stopped. Allie was knocked unconcious and at an estimated time of two hours later a police car found the car right before an exstatic call was made to 911 by Allie's mother wondering where she was. After Allie's father realized the family car was gone he took the dog and walked down the street to see the flashing lights from the police car. As soon as he realized it was his car he ran with the dog to the police man and screamed. Fortunatley and thankfully, Allie is alive. She has been taken to the Hospital and when we get more news we will announce it to you. Now back to your local listings..."
"Oh my God... This is because of me," Jason thought.
"Ummm, can I have a ride to the hospital Mom?"
"Yes, Jason. Go get dressed and I'll bring you."
When Jason got to the hospital he felt another pit in his stomach. He knew this was his fault. He had broken up with Allie right before the news lady said she had left the house. He'd been cheating on her for over a year and Allie was so upset she tried to kill herself. He felt absolutely disgusted with himself. When he got to Allie's room he gasped. She was covered in bandages from head to toe. She had a cast on both her legs and on her left arm. She had bandages on her nose and he noticed that it was broken as well as her right cheek bone. She was really messed up. When the doctor came in Jason asked him a few questions and that's when Jason became terrified for Allie. She had 8 broken ribs and a broken hip as well. The doctor said she might not make it. Jason couldn't take it anymore, he had to get out of there. He asked the doctor to do him a favor when Allie woke up and of course the doctor excepted it.
About two months later, Allie returned from the hospital and was recovering from everything. She had to get therapy which cost a fortune for her mom and dad, she didn't know how they would get through it.
The weekend after Allie returned Jason stopped by. Her mother answered the door and let him in. She brought him to the guest room where Allie stayed because she couldn't get up the stairs to go to her bedroom.
"Allie? Jason's here to talk to you."
Jason saw Allie turn around and turn back and he completely understood why. He had done this to her.
"It's okay, I understand if she doesn't wanna talk to me. I'll just go," Jason said to Allie's mom.
"No, Jason, wait! I wanna talk to you too," Allie called back.
Jason stepped into the room and Allie's mom left to give them their privacy. They sat in silence for 20 minutes and then Jason started to talk.
"Allie, I am so sorry."
"Jason, listen. It's not your fault..."
"Yes it is," Jason interrupted. "I shouldn't have been such a jerk and i never should've cheated on you and I am deeply sorry that I pretty much influenced you to try and commit suicide!"
"I didn't try to commit suicide," Allie said.
"What?" Jason questioned
"I didn't try to commit suicide, Jason. I was coming to see you. I wanted to change your mind, but on my way down the street, a raccoon jumped out in front of me and scared the hell outta me and i lost control of the car. I'm just lucky to be alive still to be able to talk to you again," Allie explained. She was half smiling at Jason and half frowning at herself.
"Oh........" Jason took a pause. "Allie Parker, I'm still sorry for breaking your heart. As soon as I heard what happened I thought it was my fault and I broke up with....well yeah we don't need to talkk about that anymore. But I broke up with her becuase I realized that if I lost you I would've killed myself just to be with you. I would've missed you terribly and would've been in so much pain. More than I'm in now..."
"Jason I've missed you so much!" Allie exclaimed.
"I've missed you too Allie!" Jason replied.
Jason held Allie until she fell asleep crying and the next morning she woke up realizing that Jason was still there with her....holding her.
"I love you, Jason Ericson," Allie said smiling and falling back to sleep.
"I love you, Allie Parker," Jason replied.
When Jason and Allie graduated from highschool two years later they went out Jason asked Allie to marry him. She said yes and they had three kids after they finished college. They lived in a big house and lived happily married for the rest of their lives.
