Chapter Seven
Part One
***THE DAY OF STEVEN AND MICHELLE’S WEDDING***
It was a sunny day at the end of August. I woke up to a slight breeze coming through my open window and the sound of countless different birds singing. It was bright and just perfect for a wedding.
There was a knock on the door and I answered it. I was already dressed and ready and I was just waiting for Andrew to get here. Steven and Michelle were off somewhere getting ready so I had the house to myself.
“Hey Wes,” Andrew said. “You ready?”
“I am,” I said with a smile and then a car pulled up.
Niall stepped out. I have to say he does look awfully good in a tux.
“Niall I do not have time for this,” I sighed and he ignored me question and looked at Andrew.
“Who are you?” he asked (and not in the nicest manner, if you ask me).
“I’m her date,” Andrew said sharply, “and you?”
“I’m her soul mate,” Niall responded, pulling out a red rose from behind his back.
I, for one, was shocked. I really didn’t feel like having a huge argument with myself at the moment, so my immature brain told me to be weak. And so I ran inside.
Right about in tears, I picked up my cell phone and called the only person I knew I could trust. The person I knew wouldn’t judge me, question me or bug me about the pregnancy. I called Louis.
“Lou?” I asked, sniffling a bit.
“Hey baby sister are you okay?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m alright,” I said. “I just got a uh… a bit of a surprise.”
“What. An. Idiot,” Louis said and I chuckled a bit.
“I’m sorry sweetheart,” he sighed.
“It’s alright,” I said. “But now they’re fighting. Can you um… do me a favor?”
“Sure,” he chirped and I couldn’t help but smile at his willingness to help me.
“Wanna take me to Steven and Michelle’s wedding?” I asked.
“Yeah!” he beamed. “That would be fun. I’m already in a tux anyway because I was invited so I’ll just head over.”
“Thanks brother,” I said and he chuckled a bit. “Make sure you come through the back door or you’ll get questioned and/or trampled.”
“Got it,” he laughed and then we both hung up.
About twenty minutes later Louis walked through the back door and hugged me.
“I am so sorry my band mate is an idiot,” he sighed, caressing the side of my head and I laughed.
“He’s not the only one,” I said and Louis dropped his mouth open.
“Wes!” he gasped and I laughed harder.
“What?” I asked like I knew nothing and he smiled and went into the bathroom.
After a good five minutes of him being in there with the door open, I heard him yell.
“Wes come help me with my hair!” he shouted.
I went into the bathroom and used everything in my power not to laugh. I feel like he made a mess of his hair on purpose, to brighten my day, and if that’s what he did it worked.
“You are so weird, Tomlinson,” I said, easily fixing his hair and then checking the time.
“We need to leave,” Louis said and I nodded.
“Let’s go!” I sang and he chuckled as we walked out the door.
