On my way.
I slept alone, but I woke up with Spencer. She was still in her black dress, her make up was gone and her hair was very messy. I shook her arm.
"What do you want?" She groaned
"Wake up." I bossed
"I don't want to." She complained
"I don't really want you to either, it's just that Tony's here..."
Before I could even finish my sentence, Spencer got up and scanned the room.
"Jerk!" She laughed
"I got you good huh," I winked
"Eh shut up." She rubbed her eyes.
"Well, how'd it go last night?" I eagerly asked
"What?" She yawned
"With Tony" I said
"Oh....it went wonderfully." She smiled
"Details, I need details woman!" I said
"Well, we danced at the ball, then we went to a club, then we went to his place....and yeah." She said.
"Was it fun?" I asked
"Yeah, it was kind of scary though." She answered
"It must have been." I said
"Yeah, but Tony made it better." She smiled
"Did you use protection?" I asked
"Yeah of course." She said as she got out of bed
"Spenc, I sorda wrecked your dress." I said
"What, which one?"
"The red and white ball gown." I said
"Sweetie, that was your's not mine." She said
"What?" I asked
"Yeah, I got it for you." Spencer answered
"Oh,.....ok good." I said
"How did you wreck it?" She asked
"I fell in a pile of dirty water." I lied
"Alright, I'm going to pretend like I believe that for now." She said
As Spencer walked into the bathroom, I streched my arm to my phone. It had 2 missed calls one from Michael and one from Roger. I should have called them back, I knew I should have. But, I just didn't know if I really wanted to. I closed my eyes and imagined how my day would go. If I went somewhere with Roger, Michael would be upset, if I spent it with Michael, Roger would be upset. God, what should I do? I walked to the balcony and stared at the park full of children. A little girl in pink was taking a picture with her dad. Dad, I wonder what dad would have told me to do. Wait, I already knew. He would say something like "Do what you want, and what makes you happy, at the end of the day, people will either love you for it, or hate you for it, but the ones that really belong in your life would love you." Well, what did I want to do now? I don't know, but I certainly didn't want to see Michael, and defenatly not Roger.
"Alright dad, I figured that out, now what?" I asked. Just when I thought I was being silly it hit me, own of my dad's famous slogans.
"Thinking is a waste of time, just take what you have and do what you can"
"Thats right dad." I nodded as I smiled at Spencer's car keys on the shelf. If I was going to do this, I needed to do it quick. I grabbed one of Spencer's big bags and emptied it entirely. I stuffed it with my jean shorts, sweat pants, a tank top, tenis sheos, jacket and my wallet. Without further adieu, I grabbed Spencer's keys and barged out the door. I got into the car, and threw my bag on the passanger seat. Well, I don't know where I'm going, But I best be on my way. I took the sunglasses haning from the mirror and started the engine.
