"not everyone is confident!
for some people, speaking up in front of classmates or friends can be really uncomfortable. there's nothing wrong with being shy. If you know someone like that, encourage them and ask them what they think. and give them time to answer, they need your support. and if you're shy, know you're not the only one! the world needs all kinds of people including shy people."
"it's easy to write people off as mean, no-good, or too nerdy.
but people can and do change. just remember, there's good and bad in all of us
and it's up to us to decide what we're going to be."
“no matter who you are, guy or girl, don’t settle for someone who treats you badly.
someone may be cute, but if that someone hurts you in any way or makes you feel badly about yourself, it’s time to get help and move on. you deserve the best. don’t you settle for less!”
“starving yourself and exercising till you drop is not a smart way to lose weight.
if you think you need to lose weight, talk to someone who really knows, like a doctor; it could save your life. and please remember, real beauty really does come from inside.”

now my question is how is useful, real life advice like this coming from a children's cartoon that aired 15-20 years ago and on tv now we're getting stuff like "i could just eat you up--well if i ate"? what happened? i know all of you hear stuff like this all the time but that's how much of a difference there is in kid's television within a short decade or two. more and more of our shows are promoting bad morals and they need to get their s.h.i.t together and turn themselves back around!
