When a guyfriend asks you to tell him the small things about you and you're just like:
The small things? Ok. I'm a major movie junkie, I have 2 younger brothers, I love water, my favorite colors are black and violet, baggy hoodies, baggy t-shirts, and fuzzy pajama pants are must-haves, I have a love-hate relationship with my hair depending on the day, I'm a total bookworm, I'm a hopeless romantic, I prefer night to day because night is so much more peaceful and it's easier to think and be artistically creative and all that at night plus I prefer the stars to the clouds, my favorite foods are shrimp, and sweet/bread and butter pickles, I hardly ever wear make-up because it's time consuming and I don't think I look good with it on..etc.
Then they don't respond and you just think: 'hmm, well I hope I didn't scare him off.'

amenah's november witty rant:
(because I always seem to be writing these...)
So, to contextualise: all of my quotes used to be black & white, but three or four months ago, I stubbornly started posting colourful quotes and blahblah basically, I'd had enough of a witty which was black & white and so just ugh no. I hated it. So yeah, I learnt some html coding (...tried to, at least) and started posting colourful quotes and voila, yup, rainbow vomit all over my profile and yes it was all very lovely.
Okay yeah but then I started feeling this weird pressure that I could never quote anything that didn't have a cool format or was colourful or whatnot yeah you get it. But then I got over that too (thank god, because that's actually the reason witty suddenly plumetted into colourblindness in the first place). Okay but yeah now I'm so happy that more of you guys are posting colourful quotes because alasdkjfsljkf yes.
And okay yes prepare yourself bc I'm to use the words 'old witty' (gasp yes i know how complainy, shush please): the only real difference that actually matters that I can discern between the 'old' and current witty is 1. the formats, and 2. the types of quotes. Which i mean okay is kind of a big difference but like, it wasn't perfect or anything back then either, you know? There was so much of a bigger gap between top quotes and 'regular' quotes, and that could be disheartening - also, so many users wouldn't post quotes just because the fomrat wasn't good bc that would mean the quote be overlooked and ugh yeah anger and stuff. If I compare that to now... Well, a lot more people post quotes wehenver they want, but a lot less people post quotes. Like, the traffic for this website has gone way down. But that's okay because that's actually getting better (I don't know if you guys have noticed?) And uh yeah basically guys I'm really really happy because
1. a very slow but steady-ish rise in traffic
2. more colourful quotes
3. more freedom in what people post
4. more originality
So just um basically keep it up? And this is me officially saying to myself 'responsibility over' and now I'm going to stop freaking myself out by telling myself that everyone expects me to post colourful quotes because tough stuff, k.
That's all. I guess. ???
