At my eigth grade camp, I was in my cabin with my friends.
It was lights out, so we were trying to be quiet but it was the first night and we were too hyped.
We giggled over the stupidest stuff, like no joke and I fully thought I'd pee myself because that's how hard I was laughing.
The teacher walked in with a flashlight and we stared at her, all quiet, and then I unleashed the loudest monster fart to have ever existed.
To say the least, I was mortified. But it was pretty funny, so I started laughing.
Then crying.
Then I turned around and went to sleep.

Dear Dana,
I'm heading off to camp in a few hours so this is probably the last letter i'll write you this week. I am pretty excited for camp, i've been looking forward to it for weeks. But now that i'm about to go.. i'm leaving everything behind.. I know it's only for a week. But i'm not going to be able to talk to my boyfriend or 'him' or any of my other friends. At least I'm going with my bestfriend though and there's nothing better than spending time with her. She's the only one that actually gets me and can make me laugh no matter what, I'm so happy I have her in my life.. she filled every empty gap I have. It sucks that she moved two hours away, but me and her have a bond like no other, so I know we'll always be friends. So I am happy I get the whole week with her, and I am glad to leave all the drama behind and boy issues behind.. and just get a break from it all for a while. But also it might be a little boring without all the drama.. I never looked at it this way but sometimes I kind of like it. It keeps life interesting... never knowing what's going to happen next. Sometimes it's confusing and annoying because most things are out of my controle and it affects me so much but drama is a good thing, it makes for great storys and only makes you stronger. Anyway I hope you have an amazing week too, I'll miss talking to you so much <3

I got back from camp today! It is a christian camp and it truely changed my life. I have cried several times this week and I am crying while I am writing this because I already miss camp and all of the people there. If you have a chance ever, even if it is not a chirstian camp, go to a camp for a week. Maybe even a month. You will develope friendships that you will not get anywhere else. Camp has made me a different person. I am now going to do things that I have never even really thought of doing before. I am not going to get into religious views and everything like that because I know how much I hate to see them, let alone everyone else. But if you are a christian and believe in Chirst, go to a church camp for a week. Even if it is only a week it will change your life. If you live in Wisconsin or any state close (I have freinds from three states over who go to camp with me) go to Christian Harbour Youth Camp. It will change your life. I mean it. Thanks for letting me talk. I wish I could stay there forever, but since I can't, I am going to be talking about camp for a LONG time on here, so get ready.

Camp Life
Chapter 1 (Alyssa's point of view.)
The soft sound of birds outside my widow woke me up this morning. Who am I kidding? I couldn't sleep. Today is the day I have been waiting for all year. It only last for one week though so I must make it count. But first I have to decide what to pack. Gotta look my best. Okay, 6 tank tops, 6 pairs of shorts, 3 sweat shirts, 3 t-shirts, 6 pairs of socks, tennis shoes, 2 pairs of flip flops, two pairs of jeans, and some under clothes. Now where is my bag?
"Mom! Do you know where my suite case is?"
"I don't know for sure, but check in the attic."
I walk into my attic. Wow. There is so much stuff up here. Who cleans this anyways? I trip over. What the heck is this? Who knows with all of the junk up here is? I grap the box that I tripped over. It had pictures in it. What can this be of?
Oh my gosh. It is from camp. There is Katlyn, Emily, Caden, Gavin and I in it. Gavin. His hair looks like sunshine in the morning sun. His eyes the color of the ocean. I can't wait to see him. What if he doesn't remember me? What if he isn't even going to camp this year? What if he got in an accident and died? Snap out of it I tell myself. I have no reason to worry. Worrying about it will only make this worse. I have to make this special. We are both 14 now. He probably has a girlfriend and doesn't even think about me often. I think about him every day though. What am I saying? We have beens best friends since we were 7. Why am I even worrying about anything? This happens every year. I don't know. last year on the last day of camp we got super close. I don't know what to do now.
