You know what?
Yeah, you really were important, and I loved you, and you were the best friend I'd ever had. But we met when we were twelve, and I needed you that much when we were twelve. I'm not gonna sit here and say I love you any less than I did back then, and I'm not gonna lie and say I don't want to talk to you every day like we used to, but I don't need you. I can be without  you. I loved you, but now I also love myself, and the seventeen year old girl can pull herself together much better than that little mess could.
You hold a special place in my heart. I hope you come back to it soon.
But I'm not going to beg. I will survive if you don't.
