Chapter 34
I returned home later that day. It was 1 pm and I was really hungry. I got home and ordered Chinese.
I lounged around on the sofa all day, watching TV. The programs and series were actually pretty boring but I couldn’t do anything else. I couldn’t stay more to Everett’s since he had an appointment; that’s why he skipped school. I got worried but he assured me everything’s fine. Phew.
The only reason I skipped school today was because I didn’t have the strength to face Sienna. I know that nothing of what took place in that room was my fault. Still, I couldn’t look her in the eyes. I betrayed her. Zach betrayed her and I hated the fact that I was involved too, whether I wanted to or not.
I had phoned some girls from my classes to give me my homework. It was late in the afternoon and I was in my room, doing my homework. My mom had texted me around 4 pm to tell me she wouldn’t be home before midnight. My dad had returned a few hours ago and was now watching TV. I was about to finish my sentence, when someone rang the doorbell.
“Evelyn, could you get the door?” my father called me.
“On my way” I murmured, walking down the stairs and going to the hall. I opened the door and revealed Zach. We both stood there, staring at each other for two seconds which seemed like a century to me. I slammed the door closed on his face in shock. He knocked again but I tried to ignore it.
How rude is he? How does he dare to show up here after everything that happened this morning?
“Open the door, Evelyn! Or else I’m coming” my dad yelled.
I panicked. “No need to come, I can handle this” I said, weakly. I opened the door again and I saw him standing there, a huge smile on his face.
“How dare you show up here?” I hissed, sending him a dangerous glare.
“What? I can’t come visit you now?” he asked, flashing me a devilish smile.
“Go. Away.”
“You and I left something unfinished this morning” he murmured, grinning and wrapping one arm around my waist.
“Let go you bast/ard” I said, pushing him away.
“What happened now? You seemed pretty relaxed this morning” he said, bringing me closer to him.
“I said go away” I gritted my teeth, escaping his grip.
“Listen here who/re, if you don’t kiss me now I’ll go tell Sienna everything that happened this morning. Every bit of it” he said, looking down at me and keeping his voice low.
“Go tell her, I don’t care. Besides, I never took part on any of your sick jokes” I spat out, narrowing my eyes at him.
“You asked for it” he shrugged, smirking and walking away to his motorbike.
“Don’t come here ever again!” I shouted.
“I wasn’t planning to” he shouted back, wearing his helmet, hopping on the vehicle and leaving.
Wait. He was really cool with telling Sienna the truth. Usually, people who want to threat others stay there and convince them to do what they want them to do. Although, he was really cool with that. That means only one thing.
He’s planning on altering the truth.
Maybe.

Waited days for it, didn't you? I'm so sorry cupcakes! School is crazy and i don't even have time to pee (joking lololol) so I couldn't find time to upload! I'm terribly sorry if this is too small but that's the best I could D: I'll probably post a new chapter on Saturday or Sunday so wait for it(:
