This is a bit late, but a deep auburn shade or dark cherry-red would be beautiful for a pale, freckled face.

Hmmmm, what would you say to a nice red-brown sort of colour? I've always wanted to die my hair that colour and it sounds like it would go nicely with your complexion :) hope I helped
