It doesn't matter if it was 27 who died or 1, If affects everyone. Not only the family of those children and parents but the people who live in newtown, and just people who live around the world. This has been Everywhere today. Every website.

It just breaks my heart :(

Today they comfirmed it was 20 kids and 6 adults, 2 were his parents, 1 was the prinicple, another they school phsyciatrist and then 3 teachers who died saving students. But it doesnt matter how many died, a tragic lost

Today, I cried. I don't cry often but this broke me.
This is just devastating. My whole family broke into tears.
My mom said how she couldn't ever imagine one of us dying. She said she wouldn't be able to move on with her own life.
I am so sorry for the parents, family members, friends, and any other people.
I really hope that President Obama finds a solution to stop all these massacures.
I don't think I can take another one. They effect us all even if it is indirectly.

ikr!! He just killed like 26 kids/people then he killed his mother AND then killeed himself!! He was stupid! WHy kill over 20 people just to kill himself later on? He was Stupid, and i..strongly...DISLIKE HIM!!

I heard 26 died...I couldn't believe it. This is what our world has come to? How can there be any faith in humanity anymore? This is just too cruel. 11 days before Christmas and 26 families have to suffer. Cruel.

18 kindergartners died at the school while two were rushed to the hospital and later died there. The last six people were staff members. Bless their souls. I agree. This man was cold hearted and just cruel.

yea!! The kids were probably SO excited to see their preaents on christmas day and now, they dont.. Im crying right this second this is so sad! They were probably making little cards to their parents saying merry christmas and and i love you. I hate that man who did it. why cant something be done??!! im SO sad!

Im absolutely disgusted by this. They were 6year old children. They were pratically still babies. How could someone look into the precious face of a child and MURDER THEM? Can you imagine the families? The parents will never be the same. This man is a monster and I'm glad he's dead.

My heart dropped when I found out what happened :'( It was absolutely disgusting, and that note that one child wrote to his parents :'( I can't imagine what the families must be going through, people on twitter were saying that the kids were saying "i just want Christmas... I dont want to die. I just want to have Christmas." </3

Now their Christmas presents are going to wind up collecting dust. I wish I can support their families somehow, but nothing can amount to what was the most precious to them. My condolences towards the families affected.

I live 20 minutes away from where it happened. My school had a lock down for 3-4 hours. Nobody told us what was happening. Everyone was scared and crying. You don't understand what it's like. When my teacher finally told us that there was a shooting in Newtown, she didn't tell us everything. Everyone started texting their brothers and sisters in the high school. We learned from text message that 27 people were dead, and most were kids. Everyone was hysterical crying in the corner of our classroom. One girl's mom texted her saying that her friend's daughter was in the school at the time. We were all terrified. We experienced it first hand. Nobody told us anything. We had to be dismissed from school straight to our buses. No after school activity. Nothing can happen. Everyone was silent on the bus. Nobody spoke. When I got home, it was all over the school. Then I found out what really happened.

This is sooo sad. When i heard about this i started crying. The fact that someone would kill innocent 6 year olds is sick. They barely lived. Everyone whose reading this and is going through a time where they've become suicidal just think about this quote. People died today. They didn't choose to die. They were children. They didn't get to live there life or at least see what could've been in store for them. You guys have a choice. Whether you believe in fate or not doesn't matter, there is a place for you in this world. Don't give up. Live for the the thousands of kids dying from cancer or dying from murders. They didn't choose that fate, keep them in your memory and stay strong.

It's terrible. I live in the next town over and we shut down school early. My high school went over to help the families but you could just tell there was absolutely nothing you could do. It's so sad
