Yeah this is true.. my grandma says she remember's when it came out. everyone thought it was okay just like how we thought blacks were bad people.. history is history.

Well, as you said, 1965. Things have changed. A lot. People still believed the stupid blacks-weren't-as-important-as-whites-thing. So it isn't like this is how people are now. Look up Anorexia in the 1960s in Google. There's a website that says "A straight up and down figure, very small hips, buttocks, and breasts became the shape to have." So, it's not like that now. If it was a barbie that came out weeks ago, then okay, I get your point. But this was about 45 years ago.
