If we had one chat that everyone talked on (you couldn't make other channels) people couldn't talk bad about each other behind their backs, but that might be confusing because there's so many people...

Theres a profile on witty called Chat http://www.wittyprofiles.com/author/Chat
and it literally just has the link to get chat on your profile, :) If you really want it, get it, its the same as comments though, everyone can see it, its just a quicker response technique.

Ok, so this is a top quote. But one thing I love about Witty is the fact that everyone can see what we write.

I don't go on Facebook because it's so Biatchy - people are always talking behind your back about you. Biatching about you. If we had Chat on Witty, it would be exactly the same.

Online chat + zero moderators = Trolls who can't reveal their identity.Nasty trolls + vulnerable tweens and teens = Cyberbullying occurs.

Destruction happened due to the previous chat, it's bound to happen again.

There was a Witty chat back in May 2011. Here's a quote I made about it on my other acc: http://www.wittyprofiles.com/q/2852763
The reason it got shut down was because some of the people on it were trolling it and going into other chat rooms (ie. #jesus and #facebook) and the people in those chatrooms got slightly off and trolled our chatroom, and it was just too much. Plus, there's an easy way to find someone's location via the chatroom (just track the IP address) and people were getting kinda freaked out by that.
While I miss the chatroom a lot (99% of my Witty bestfriends were ones I met on there) I'm kinda glad it's gone.

Yeah there was a witty chaaat, and ohh I didnt know that Crimsonxrose .. but like people should be able to report the people abuusing it sayen how they were so the others can still use it if they want.

The only reasons it's gone is because some people on this site aren't mature enough to be trusted with it. The chat created so much drama, people got hurt and Steve saw that. I agree with him on this one, sorry :3
