It's not like its your birthday or anything, different people have different views on things like valentines day and anniversaries. If it means so much to you why don't you ask if you can hang out with him that night? Or tell him how much it upsets you.

Does he even know its your anniversairy? I'd probably forget if it were me... :P

I think thats rude. but do you really have to celebrate it that day? Im just saying, if it would work for both of you and it would end the fight or prevent it, then i think its worth it to do it another day. Because im going to be honest with you, most guys dont care about anniversarys as much as girls do. You should defiantly tell him your upset about it but I wouldnt take it to the level of breaking up with him because of something he doesnt care about no matter how much you yell at him about it.

I dont think you should think the party is for you because if you get your hopes up and then its not you'll be crushed. I know this will sound kind of mean but what i would do is make plans for the day as well get some girls and some lads together and go do something fun , then the morning of send him a text saying how you love him ( if your there if not go i really like you blah blah blah ) talk about how you have told been in bliss for the year and how your disappointed that he didnt want to spend the day with you but you guess some things are more important make him feel guilty but dont go over board small little digs here and there with lots of love in between . he should relies you're upset and come crawling back all sorry. If not he could just be being a guy they dont always get it. If you still feel bad about it think things over ask him if he still feels the same and then goes with what your heart tells you.
