10 years ago, i lost my mother.
she had to go to the world trade center for a job interview. around 7 me & my dad wanted to visit her, and then go sight seeing around new York. halfway there, breaking news came over the radio. i think we were in a tunnel or something because we couldnt really hear it, but i could tell something wasnt right. As we were on the highway getting closer to the city, we saw smoke comming from a large building. my dad started getting really worried and began to cry, i had no idea what was going on though. we drove up to the building and got out of the car. It was the world trade center. the building mommy was in. i remember running in and looking all over the first floor screaming "MOMMY!" but a fire fighter grabbed me and brought me outside and away from the building, i refused to stay and watch , i NEEDED to save my mom. For the next hour or so daddy & i just stood there watching the buildings burn and collapse into pieces. everyone was running and screaming. i remeber it being really dark and smokey, and very hot. we went into a hotel in the area and cried. we jsut cried and cried, and eventully called a taxi to come and take us home because our car had been wrecked under the building. when we finally got home daddy called everyone and told them the bad news. i was only 6, but i remember it like it was yesterday. i miss you so much mommy. daddy and i are going to a memorial tonight, we'lll pray for you. i hope your safe, i love you<3

God bless you. While I was watching the memorial they said my daddy's name and I cried so hard my eyes hurt for the rest of the day. I know how you feel. Your mom is watching over you and is so proud of you. Stay Strong. <3

I'm here for you, still crying at this even though it's been about an hour since i read it, you're so strong and your mom is so proud of you, she's looking down on you right now and thinking: wow, my baby is so beautiful and brave, she's going to grow up to be a stunning young woman and i'm going to help her every step of the way, just because you can't see her, doesn't mean she's not there, like i said, ever need to vent or just talk and let things out you know where i am, i honestly admire you for being so strong because i could never do it. Thats the saddest thing ever! i'm crying right now, so touching and sad, im really sorry for your loss, I think that onna my cuzzies was in there when that happend too, so ur not alone.

Aww. This made me cry (literally). There are so many sad things in the world and there's nothing to stop it from happening. Last night, my dad was talking about fate and stuff and he was like "It's sad to think how there are some people, like tourists and stuff) who have never been there before, and that one day, something happening. Or those people who go there everyday and just at that moment, they went out to get something. Or those people on the plane. Or the people who just cancelled their flights and the people who thought they were so lucky to fly an earlier flight." It makes me sad to think that there's nothing we can do about anything.
