i'm someone who will retreat when in pain. i won't approach you for help -- so you have to check up on me, ask me over and over, pester me, not leave me in silence. i am in the habit of suffering alone. i won't tell you what's wrong, ever. if you want to know, you'll have to ask. explicitly. over and over.
i... know am not an easy person to be friends with, or to be around. but i won't say sorry. i've apologised enough for feeling what i do.

I'm not perfect. I think I know that I'm not perfect. What better person to know that I'm not perfect than myself? I know what goes on in my head. I know all the lies I've told and I know my long list of regrets. This whole thing is so trivial, but I let it get to me. I don't think I'm better than anyone else. Why should I? I'm just another person. If I have some self esteem does that suddenly make me arrogant? Does it make me better than anyone else? Of course not! It's taken me a long time to get where I am. So don't make stupid comments like 'Stop acting like you're better than everyone, you're not perfect.' Because it just makes you look like a tool, and it's seriously not needed.
