"Isn't it crazy?" He asked staring up at the dark sky. Snuggling up to his side I glance at the stars then back at him. "What's crazy?" I place my ear to his chest, knowing that whatever the crazy is, he'll be talking a while about it. "How none of this matters!"His hand waves around in front of him, pointing at the distant city lights, my grandfathers barn and even the car we rest on. "The cities we build, the things we invent, this town, our friends, our family." His hand floats back down and grabs hold of mine, "or even us." Its quite as he goes back to thinking while I mule over his words. I giggle a little and kiss his cheek. "It does matter. It matters to me and to you, and that's that's. Life is already complicated, you don't need to make the simple things about it complicated."
