Chapter 2
Flashback: Suzan, 17. Parents in Sydney and sister, Arielle (20 years) was into drugs and boys and late-nights and is rarely home. Suzan's best friends are Evan and Brianna. Living in Chicago.
Bri came over to Suzan's house, she was quite sad and then she said that her boyfriend dumped her.
"Whaa- why?" I mean who would break up with such an amazing girl like Brianna? She was so gorgeous, had perfect hair, her innocent eyes her angelic smile, she looked like a cheerleader even though she wasn't one. "Don't worry, he didn't deserve you." I said, I didn't know what to do. "Yeah actually I'm not that worried, you know how much I changed him from a gangster, whom his parents hated. His dad was so mean to him after his mom died in the car crash."
"He just wants me to beat the sh/t outta him," Evan said, out of no-where. It made Bri smile. She hugged Evan really tight which for some reason made me feel uncomfortable even though she was just our best friend. I've known Evan longer than I know Bri.
"But why did he break up with you? You're perfection baby," I asked. "Well just called me around two hours ago and said that we're officially done and he also said he's gonna go and live with someone I know... and change everything in our lives..." Bri replied.
"He's weird," I said. "Nope, he's a brat. I never really like him." Bri frowned at Evan but didn't say anything. "Nevermind, why don't we all go somewhere to take our minds out of this?" I suggested. "Yeah sure but to where?" Evan asked.
"Hey I know! There's this huge party going on since midnight near my place, heard all the 'famous' people are there! Let's sneak in, no one will really know, they'll all be drunk," Bri said. "Yep, we ought to be crazy sometimes, YOLO!" I loved her idea. "But remember, we're gonna be sobers. We don't wanna land ourselves into trouble, do we?" Evan said. Well we had no problem in getting into trouble because no one could really tell our parents anything, both of us have no idea how to contact them but Bri would be the one in trouble, which is certainly not a good idea. "Yep," Bri and I echoed. So we planned it, we were going there around 5pm. Till then we watched movies and had a water balloon fight.
~4:30 pm~
"So let's get dressing!" I shouted. Evan didn't change his outfit, Bri wore my pink dress that reached upto her knees, she looked adorable in it. It had a black bow on it which looked really cute. I wore a similar one, but a black dress with a silver-ish heart. We were ready to go now, it was almost 11 and the party was on till midnight. It had stopped snowing now and was pretty dark outside. We planned to walk upto the party place rather than going in a car or else we could fall into trouble if they saw our car. We saw many drunk people around the streets and some people planning to get into the pool behind the house. "Ready for some craziness?" I asked. Evan and Bri nodded.
The house looked like a mansion, so huge! We entered the house and my nose smelled drugs, a lot of them. "Yuck, I feel like puking," I told Brianna. "So do I," she said. None of us had actually drunk or smelled such a strong smell of any drug.
Suddenly, someone pulled Bri towards them and I guess they were kissing. I couldn't see his face since Bri's 'curled' hair was covering my view. Bri pushed that person away. Oh no, it was Seth. "What the hell are you doing here?!" She screamed at him. He seemed to be totally drunk because he didn't really seem to know what he was saying.
"Baby, if your man doesn't come along with you, it's too shameful," Seth said. Bri slapped him on his face and he just turned around and starting making out with someone else. "Woah that was amazing," I commented. "Come on Suzan!" Brianna said. I love teasing her and she loves teasing me too. "Hey where's Evan?" I asked. "I'll go get him," Bri shouted. The music was too loud for me to hear anything. I was walking towards the kitchen to look for Evan when all of a sudden
someone grabbed my waist from behind and pulled me towards them.
