Never gonna let you go...
Chapter 1
Flashback: Suzan, 17. Parents in Sydney and sister, Arielle (20 years) was into drugs and boys and late-nights and is rarely home. Suzan's best friends are Evan and Brianna. Living in Chicago.
"You know love doesn't mean anything to me!" I squealed. "It soon will..." He muttered. "What?" I asked. "Nothing..." Ha, he think I didn't hear but unfortunately (for him) I did.
"I will not!" I screamed and hit Evan with a cushion. He hit me back. There goes a pillow cushion fight. I shot one at him really hard but he ducked, damn he's sporty.
"Aww come at me. You can't even aim a damn cushion," My cheeks flushed with embarassment. How could he say that? I'll show him how good I am. I made the 'puppy-dog' face and slowly lifted a cushion and threw it at him. Ha, it hit him right on his face.
"Ow!" He cried. I think it hurt him... "I'm sorry I really didn't mean to-" I went up to him and took his hand off his face and I saw the smirk on his face. "Whaaaa-" He tackled me to the floor before I could complete my sentence.
"Who's the stronger one now baby?" He teased. "uhhh get off my I'm dying!" I couldn't think of anything else. "Fine," "Hey should I make breakfast for you today?" Evan asked me. It was almost 9. I was a bit surprised by his question "You cook?" I asked.
"Who do you think cooks for me?" His parents too were really busy with their work and never had time to come home, just like mine. I really wonder for whom do our parents work so much if they don't even have time for us? Well, we're really used to it now and better off without thinking about it. Both of us are rich anyway so it doesn't really matter. "I'm sorry," I said after a long moment of silence. "It's alright bestie" and he gave me a peck on my forehead.
He got up to make pancakes for us. We sat on the dining table, opposite each other.
I was done eating. I looked up at Evan and caught him smiling at me. "Um.." I said to break the silence. "Yeah, are you done?" He asked.
"Yeah..." After we were done with the dishes and everything else, we decided to watch a movie, it was just morning but quite boring as it was snowing outside so we couldn't do anything else. "I hate this weather," both of us said on the same time. We cracked up. We were the craziest best friends at times, he looked cute with his brown-ish hair, godly eyes, amazing body and perfection but I never thought of him more than a best friend, we were good enough like this.
I rested my head on his shoulder while watching the movie, we were really comfortable on the couch when someone knocked the door and came in. I guessed it was Arielle but it was Brianna. "Oops, I'm sorry to disturb you guys," she said even before she knew what was happening.
"You little perv" Evan said. "What are you doing here, I mean it's snowing so how did you come all the way up here?" I asked. Brianna lived about 2 blocks away from me. "Suzan I've really gotta tell you something about Seth," She said.
Seth was her boyfriend, I wondered what she had to tell us for what she couldn't call me up. "Yeah?" I patted on the spot next to me on the couch and she settled there.
"Well... I really... don't know how to say this.. " I saw a tear in her eye. "What's wrong, tell us."
"We broke up."
