“I’d be really upset. I cant go a day without talking with my bestie,” I hugged Faith tight.
She just stood there and sighed. “April I’m serious. Would you really miss me?” She mumbled something else, probably something she didn’t want me to hear, so I decided to ignore it and go back to the main topic.
“Yes Faith, of course I would miss you! I would cry if you were gone, I wouldn’t be the same if you left.” I hugged her tighter then before. “Promise me you wont leave.”
She just stood there, staring at the concrete sidewalk. “Faith…” No response. “Faith!…” She finally looked up at me a little with guilt in her eyes.
“I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have even thought about running away…”
“Faith it’s okay… it’s not your fault. Yesterday was just a bad day, don’t let it get to you this much.”
She sighed and nodded and we started walking again. I knew she wasn’t acting like herself, and that comment just proved it. I hope she just doesn’t do what she said.

I tried to tell myself that you’re gone but it just won’t sink in.
No matter what I do, I’m still missing and thinking about you.
I’m tired of feeling this way.
I know it would be right for me to let go but no matter how much I tell myself to do it, I can’t.
