Birthday Surprise Chapter 1
"Stormy were here" I heard my mom hum. I stretched than rubbed my sleepy eyes. I opened my eyes quick enough to see the car turn down a driveway that looked as if it would never end. Great I thought, no sun light what so ever. I turned on my Ipod and waited until we pulled up to a 2 story cottage. It was cute better than any other place I've lived in. The moving truck parked beside my moms Bwm. The old creepy guys got out, one smiling at me, I sunk in my seat lower. My names Stormy sky but everyone calls me Stormy or Storm. I have light brown hair that dances along my shoulders, green blue eyes that sparkle in the sunlight. I'm 15, ill be 16 in 3 day's. I'm considered really pretty I guess. My dad died when i was young so it's just me and my mom right now. I've always wanted a sibling but my mother never had the chance as you can see. I opened my car door and stepped out into the dark cold forest. I used to live in California but we moved to Maine today actually. I didn't want to go, I mean it's California who would want to but my mom got offered at better job here. I had to leave all my friends and my first love, Jake in California although he won't have any trouble getting a new girlfriend. I walked around the house, it was a bit creepy. The trees were packed close together so I couldn't see through the woods. "Storm" My mom hollered. "Coming" I answered back. I ran back around the side of the house to see my mom shaking hands with the guys who helped move our stuff. There was someone else behind her, a girl with dark brown curls and gray blue eyes. She smiled at me as I got closer to my mom. I smiled back trying to be friendly, who was she? "Oh Storm there you are id like you to me sky, she lives down the road from us" My mom said smiling at me. "Hi I'm Sky" The girl said walking up to me and shaking my hand. She was really pretty. "Hey" I answered back quietly. "I go to your school and I thought you'd like to know someone before you started" She smiled at me. "Thanks that would really help" I smiled back, actually happy that she cared. "So I thought you to would like to chat and get to know each other, so I decided to go run some arins in town, will you be okay by yourself for now Storm?" My mom asked. "Yeah ill be fine mom" I answered back quickly. "Okay ill be back later to help unpack, don't forget you have school tomorrow so pick out an outfit" My mom said while getting into the car. "I will" I answered back even though she was driving away. "I could help you stormy" Sky asked. "I'd like that" I answered back with a smile. We ended up talking about everything, I mean EVERYTHING. When she left I felt sad. I don't know why maybe the feeling that I could have had a sister like that. I sat back on my bed and looked at my clothes I was to wear tomorrow. I chose my Neon pink converse a pair of skinny jeans with a couple rips in them, a pink areo crop top and a red headband. I fell back on my bed and closed my eyes, next thing i knew i was drifting off. I woke up to my mom shaking my arm. "Stormy sky Malynn Johnson wake up missy" My mom yelled in my ear. I sat upright quickly to see my clock say 6:30. I had 20 minutes to get ready. I jumped up and ran to my bathroom, I took a quick shower. I got dressed after and put my hair into a bun with my headband. I added on some eye shadow and lip gloss. I looked at my self in the mirror and with a quick touch to my makeup I hurried down the stairs almost killing myself. My mom gave me a banana and off we went out the door. School was thankfully 15 minutes away. I had 5 minutes to spare. "Have a great first day sweetie love you" My mom said smiling. "Iloveyoutoo mom" I ran up the steps and opened the front doors. Everyone was staring at me, guys were whistling and smiling at me. I shrugged it off not wanting to get in trouble for showing them a piece of my mind. I found that office quickly and walked in. There was a tall boy with dark brown hair and blue eyes like the ocean. He smiled at me and continued to talk to the office attendant. I was tapped of the shoulder by a young women maybe in her 30's. "Can I help you miss" She asked. "Oh yes if you wouldn't mind, I'm new here and I'm not sure were I'm supposed to be." I said quckily. "Name please" She asked. "Stormy sky Johnson" I answered. "Oh yes miss Johnson, come this way please" She said walking to her desk. "Heres your schedule and can you sign this please." She asked handing me the papers." Uhm yeah I can" I answered taking them papers. After I was done she took them back. "Kyle here will show you around before the bell rings, won't you Mr Kyle?" The cute tall boy turned around and smiled. "Anything for you Mrs. Ahmer, right this way Stormy" He said taking my arm. I quickly pulled away when we were out of the office. He smiled at me. "Do I smell funny?" He asked. "No I just don't want to be touched" I snapped. "Oh I see my bad" He laughed. His laughed sent chills threw my body. No, no I don't want another boyfriend I already had one and it went bad, I'm not taking any chances. He broke the silence. "Seems like I have every class you do" He said smiling. "Oh joy" I said. He laughed quietly. "Your a pretty little thing" He whispered in my ear. It made me jump which made him laugh. I glared at him the rest of the time. Finally we got the class. I could see Sky and a red headed girl who must have been Amanda her friend she was talking about. "Well I'll see you later cutie" Kyle whispered to me. "Don't count on it" I mumbled. He laughed and took a seat. I walked over to Sky, when she saw me she hugged me. "Finally your here" She squealed. "This is Amanda" She said pointing behind her. "Hi Stormy I've heard so much about you" She said smiling. So much about me, what has Sky told her? "I've heard a lot about you too" I fibbed, I really had no clue who she really was. The day went by quickly. Kyle didn't bother me but other guys did. I turned them all down just like I had planned to do. I was excited for tomorrow. This new life might not be so bad after all.
