Once upon a time there was a handsome man,
full of charisma and very tan.
He loved music and played guitar,
when you heard him you thought "Oh, what a star!"
His band had launched their career,
playing in sold out stadiums where everyone cheered.
Then during his concert on a summer's night,
he met a beautiful wonderous sight.
Her name was Sam and she loved Motley Crue,
Who would have thought, too good to be true.
He gave her tickets and paraded her with gifts,
Little did he know he should jump off a cliff.
He was so happy to have had a groupie,
that he didn't realize he was starting to get loopy.
Though they liked the same things,
his heart still didn't sing.
She was cruel, conniving and mean,
she acted like she was a queen.
If another fan asked for an autograph,
she moan and groan like a sick giraffe.
Possessive was she to say the least,
Though her outside was fair, inside she's a beast.
She began to wander from band to band,
her groupie ways got far out of hand.
"How dare you get a tattoo like mine" and
"look at me, I'm in front of the line!"
So pretty was she, she modeled clothes.
So ugly inside, she developed many foes.
There are many fans who work very hard,
wait for hours and beg the guard.
Just to meet the band they love,
but they do not push and shove.
Sam thought that she was so hot,
from band to band, the girl would trot.
Then one fine day she sealed her fate,
every band found out she was second rate.
Now she needs a ticket to get inside,
no more backstage, no more free ride.
The moral of the story is simple but true.
Beauty is only skin deep,
groupies are cheap!
