My Boyfriend Is Famous
Chapter 6; Part 15
“Drew?” she uttered out.
“Yeah, it’s-it’s me.” he stuttered.
“What’s up? How’s rehab?” the words rolled over her tongue, Amy smiled.
“It’s good, I’m pretty fixed, like 5 to 10 days,” he paused to breathe, “Abbey, I’m coming back to New York to see Justin’s kick off show for the tour, and I wanted to know if you wanted to come to the concert with me, as my date.”
“I’m not too destructive for you?”
“Of course not, I fell for you.”
A smile ripped across Abbey’s face, and she let out a giggle.
He took a deep breath, “I miss you.”
“I miss you too. And I can’t wait to see you at the concert.”
His hearty laugh made her remember everything they used to be. Even though they weren’t together much, they talked all the time and never wanted to let each other go.
“I’ll see you later,” he ended and the line clicked.
“Oh my gosh, Abbey!” Amy said excitedly jumped up, slowly, she was still bruised and sore.
“Yeah, it’ll be fun,” she said, forcing a smile onto her face.
“Abbey, what’s wrong?”
“He called me Abigail, his breathing was off, I broke his heart before rehab, I was hurt watching him leave, what if it happens again? And my heart melted when he called me Abigail, my grandmother was the only one who ever called me Abigail, and he’s the first to step up and call me that.”
“You seem to want to be alone, want me to leave?”
“Do you mind?” Abbey said.
“Not really.” Amy hugged Abbey goodbye and walked out the door, pulling out her cell phone to call her mom. Amy saw her old friend, Pat, and waved to him, “Hey, Pat,”
“Hey, Aim,” he said.
She sat on the edge of the curb and Pat skated over to sit next to her, “You look like you have a lot on your mind, are you okay? And you have bruises and marks everywhere, I know my share of drama, you can’t let Ray keep doing that, you need someone to treat you right, Aim.”
Amy looked straight into his dark brown eyes, they’ve been close since first grade, and with that advice, she couldn’t resist him, she kissed him. And he kissed her back.
Pat pulled his face away, “Look, you’re going out with Ray, break up with him before you do this. Especially with me, I’m one of Ray’s closest friends.”
“He’s probably high making out with Rose, I can’t care anymore,” she answered.
He shrugged, “why not?”
Amy kissed him again and wrapped her arms around his neck and her mom came by, “Amy Jane!”
She pulled away and ran to the car. Pat stood up and skated over to the other people he was with.
“Amy Jane, why were you doing that with Patrick?” her mother scolded.
“Because Ray is cheating and abusing me.” Amy mumbled.
“What?” Mrs. Fitzgerald exclaimed, “we aren’t talking about this now, we will tomorrow, after you graduate.”
Olivia looked in the mirror, she had a towel wrapped in her hair, a towel around her body, and her dress on a hanger on the closet door. She started from her hair down to her feet. And within forty five minutes, she was ready to go, “Justin!”
She heard his footsteps and he pushed the door open, “You look beautiful,” he said after just glancing at her.
She was wearing a white and black dress that was tight in the chest area and hung loose down to her lower thigh. She had strapped silver heels and a silver hair clip holding up her artificial blonde out of her face. Her nails were French manicured on her fingernails and silver on her toes.
“Why, thank you,” she wrapped her arms around his waist, she was almost as tall as him in those shoes.
“Drew called me, he said he was coming to the kick off show on your mom’s birthday and he and Abbey are going to try to work it out.”
“Awe, that’s so sweet.” she said, then she heard her phone vibrate from the bed.
‘Liiv, i hooked up with pat, is that a bad thing?’ it was Amy.
‘are you and Ray still together?’ she answered.
‘yeah.’
‘it might be a problem.’
