What if I never met you?
Sometimes I like to think about
how differently my life would be
if I didn’t meet a specific person.
What would I have done during the moments
that I was with them if I never met them?
Would I end up meeting somebody else
that would have the same exact impact that they had on me?
Everyone that has walked in and out of my life
has had an affect on my life one way or another,
and I just can’t help but wonder how my life would be
if I never met the people that I’ve met.

Everyone has a crush.
Maybe, not right at this very moment, but you'll get one. My advice to you is that you tell that person exactly how you feel. Maybe they won't like you, but then again maybe they will. If they don't, so what? That's just one person. You're amazing and beautiful, just pick yourself up and move on. But, don't hide your feelings, because you will regret it. One day you'll look back and realize that if you had told that person how you felt, they might be yours. Don't let them slip through your fingers.

anymore?
You have a whole lot of other girls wanting to be with you,
so why should I try and make myself stand out to you?
I mean, sure, you’re cute, you’re funny, you’re sweet, etc.,
but what did you do for me?
You just told me all these compliments

Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up.
If a guy punches you he likes you. Never try to trim your own bangs and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. Every movie we see, Every story we're told implores us to wait for it, the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. But sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending we don't learn how to read the signs. How to tell from the ones who want us and the ones who don't, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe... it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is... just... moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope. ♥

My dentist told me once
that letting go is like pulling a tooth. When it was pulled out, you’re relieved, but how many times does your tongue run itself over the spot where the tooth once was? Probably a hundred times a day. Just because it was not hurting you doesn’t mean you did not notice it. It leaves a gap and sometimes you see yourself missing it terribly. It’s going to take a while, but it takes time. Should you have kept the tooth? No, because it was causing you so much pain. Therefore, move on and let go.
