   Prologue
   “I’m heading out!” he yelled
   “Where to?” I responded
   “Just to hang out with some friends.”
   “Oh cool. Tell the boys I say hey. I’ll call El or something.”
   My name is Sarah and that was my boyfriend Niall. Yes, Niall, from One Direction. I’ve known him for eight years and have been in love with him for about 6. Only three years ago did I realize that we felt the same way when he told me over Skype while he was on tour. Once he came home we tried to pursue the relationship and had been going strong ever since. All of the fans adore our relationship and ship ‘Narah’ to the extreme.
   The thing is if you would’ve asked me a few months ago how great dating the Niall Horan I would’ve gone for hours and hours. Now, I struggle during 5 minute interviews. That’s because he hasn’t kissed me in over two weeks. He hasn’t said I love you in a month. And he’s going on tour in about two months and I’m not sure if we’ll even Skype once. All of the boys and Eleanor, my best friend, have told me numerous times to just end the relationship to give Niall a reality check, but I’m afraid he won’t come back to me. I can’t lose him, I just can’t.
   This is about going back to being Just Friends With Niall Horan. And let me tell: it sucks.

   It’s been a month since I first started talking to Sarah. You may think I’m absolutely nuts. Talking to a fan all about my personal life online where she can easily take a screen shot and expose it. She doesn’t seem like that type of person.
   @Sarah_Tommo: people need 2 learn to not bother me with screams at 6:30. i am NOT a morning person!
   I laughed.
   @NiallOfficial: hahahaha i’ll def remember that. note to self: don’t scream at Sarah at 6:30. got it.
   “Mate, whatcha laughing at?” asked Liam
   “When is Niall not laughing?” asked Harry
   “When he’s eating” replied Zayn
   “I bet he told himself a joke that wasn’t even close to be funny” said Louis
   “I bet he just understood your joke from 4 hours ago.”
   “I BET IT’S THAT FAN!” yelled Zayn.
   Yes I told the boys about her and probably more than once. My phone buzzed again.
   @Sarah_Tommo: well u gotta meet me first to be able to not scream at me.
   That’s when the idea hit me. Maybe I’m crazy. Okay, scratch that. I’m definitely crazy, but there’s just something about her that makes me trust her. This could totally backfire in my face, but I was going to Skype her. Tonight. I can’t tell the boys, especially Liam. He’ll go on about how stupid and irresponsible that’d be. She used to tweet us probably 20 times each a day. It’s a worth a shot.
   @NiallOfficial: speaking of which. how long till u get out of school? xx
   @Sarah_Tommo: 2 more hours. praise the lord! why? :)

   “WHAT?!” I looked up from my phone for the first time and noticed the boys were all staring at me. I guess I completely zoned out. Whoops.
   “I said that we have a meeting tomorrow for MSG and then we leave by next Saturday.” said Liam
   “That leaves Loverboy.. hm... carry the two.. 12 days till you get to see ‘Sarah the most wonderfulest fan in the entire world who’s just so AMAZING I just can’t handle it’”. Louis said.
   “I have never said that in my life!”
   “You’ve said something along those lines” Harry replied.
   “HAVE NOT!”
   “HAVE TOO!” Great now Zayn joined this argument.

   Everyone just started at him and mumbled a few harsh words and walked away. I didn’t care. I was officially going to meet Sarah, and nothing could bring me down.

   Lexi was a hardcore Directioner. The major reason why we became friends is because of them. She's got dark brown curly hair (Like Danielle's) and dark brown eyes.

   What would you do if one day one of your biggest dreams came true? Some people wish for money, some for fame, but all Sarah wanted was to get noticed by her favorite band. Just a follow on twitter, or a picture at a meet and greet. No way was she lucky enough for something as crazy as that to happen to her. Or was she?!?

    Niall's POV
    I couldn't stop thinking about Harry and Nicole being together. If she wasn't going to be my girlfriend then I needed her out of my life for good.
    I pulled out a girl's underwear and put it under my Dad's pillow. I sprayed perfume and found Terry's keys and locked the door of my Dad's place.
    I went to Terry and Nicole's hotel room and did almost the exact same and waited until I heard screaming and yelling.
    Soon enough my Dad left.
    Phase 1. Complete.
    Nicole's POV
    I had to get my mind off of Niall. I threw on jeans, a gray top, a beanie, and brown boots. I curled my hair and went out of the door. I went to the boy's flat.
    "NICOLE!" yelled Louis
    "LOU!"
    He bearhugged me.
    "VAS HAPPENIN'?!"
    "ZAYN! Are any of the boys here?"
    "Do you mean Harry and Niall? No. Harry left about 10 minutes ago to get something to eat and no one's seen Nial all day," said Liam.
    "Hey Li!"
    "Hello love."
    "I think I know where Niall is.." said Harry who had just opened the door.
    "Spill!" yelled Louis who was jumping up and down.
    "I think he's trying to ruin your parent's relationship."
    I ran out and started looking for him.
    After about an hour I finally found Niall at Nando's. It should've been the first place to check I thought to myself.
    "Hey"
    "Hi," he replied.
    "Can we talk?"
    "I guess"
    "Harry told me what he thinks you're doing."
    "You don't get it do you? The minute I saw you at the airport. I knew it. I knew you were going to be the one. And I thought you were going to the one until I found out that you slept with one of my best mates. We weren't together, yes I understand, but that's just a slap in the face. So now I can't even be with you if I wanted to because poor Haz has been moping around for weeks about some mystery girl who happens to be you. I was too stupid to see it! You don't get it that whatever happens I can't be with you. So I'm sparing myself the pain and ending this thing our parents have so I'll never have to see you again," he said looking at me in the eyes.
    "I love you Nialler."
    "I love you too"
    He leaned in and kissed me.

    I couldn't believe what Harry said.
    "I don't know.."
    "Fine. You don't want to tell me?! Then we're over. And I will make sure my dad stays away from your mom," said Niall.
    "We're.. over?!" I started crying.
    "Unless you tell me what the f**k Harry was talking about. Nicole, I know you're lying to me. Why was Harry apologizing?!"
    "Are you sure you want to know?!"
    "Yes."
    "That night at the club when you left Harry and I got drunk and I woke up and I was in Harry's bed. I had no recollection of what happened until Harry came into the room and told me we slept together. It was a one night thing and before we were together."
    Niall started crying.
    "So.. Your the guy Harry's been so depressed about?"
    "I guess.."
    "Well then he deserves you because I don't want you anymore."
    I started crying hysterically.
    "You -- You don't want me?!"
    "Yeah. We're done. Bye," he said while leaving.
    He didn't even look upset.

    Niall's POV
    "You -- You don't want me?!" Nicole said. She was crying hysterically. Niall hold it together. She slept with your best mate. Forget her.
    "Yeah. We're done. Bye."
    I had to leave before I broke down crying.
    I cried myself to sleep. I felt like she was the one yet this whole time she was lying to me.
    I heard a knock on my door.
    "What the f***k do you want?" I screamed.
    "It's Liam."
    "Come in."
    "Hey Nialler. Nicole just left crying hysterically. So I guess she told you."
    "YOU KNEW?!" I screamed.
    "Yeah. Nicole made me swear to not tell anyone. She loves you. She didn't want you to break up with her over a drunk night."
    "If you're gonna be on her side, then leave."
    "I'm not on her side. I just want you to see it from her point of view also. I don't want you guys to hate each other considering you're probably gonna be step-siblings."
    "If I have anything to do with it, she will never be a part of my life."
    "Okay. Well just think about it," said Liam and he left my room.
    I continued crying and finally fell asleep.
    Author's note: OMG.so maybe if Niall and Nicole aren't together Niall will still sabotage the relationship. Team Harry or Niall?!?! or maybe someone else comforts her ;) sorry if this chapter is really bad im so sick :/ fave/comment/give me some feedback!

    Dinner wasn't going as bad as I thought. My dad and Terry sure did seem happy. Maybe we should've told them that Nicole and me were dating.
    "Hun, this is delicious. Try some," Terry said.
    "Wait, you guys share?!" I asked very confused.
    "Niall doesn't let anyone touch his food."
    "Oh I know. Try spending over 14 hours a day with him and 4 other boys," said Nicole.
    She subtly winked at me. I started to blush.
    I saw that Nicole was using her phone under the table so I decided to text her.

    i love how they thought it was cute that we were matching. ~niall xx

    We quickly finished dinner and went our separate ways. Once we got to my car we kissed which lead to making out.
    Once we got home we decided to watch The Titanic. Within the first half an hour Nicole fell asleep and I soon fell asleep too only to be waken up by 3 very drunk boys and Daddy Direction.
    "NIALL!!!!!" Harry screamed completely tumbling over.
    "VAS HAPPENIN'?!"
    "Sorry if they woke you. They couldn't contain the drinking as you can see they are very drunk," Liam said.
    "It's okay!" said Nicole. I didn't even realize she woke up.
    "Niall! I'm sorry!" said Harry.
    "It's okay Haz. Just go to bed."
    "NO! I'M SORRY! I SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT!!!"
    "Harry, go to bed."
    "I SLEPT WITH HER! I'M SORRY!"
    What was he talking about?
    "Harry time for bed," said Liam

    He got up and hugged her.

    Something's going on. All of the boys are acting like they know something. I even asked Louis if anything was going on and he just shook his head and walked away.
    "NICOLE!!" I said running up to her when she got back.
    "NIALL!!"
    She practically attacked me and caused me to fall. We looked at each other and immediately started laughing.
    "You guys alright?" Liam asked.
    "We're good," said Nicole and I gave a thumbs up.
    "So what do you guys think you're gonna do about the parents situation?"
    "We're going to give it a shot," Nicole said.
    WHAT?! I was in complete shock.
    I ran up to her and kissed her.
    "I love you"

    "I'M BORED! LET'S GO OUT TONIGHT!" screamed Louis.
    I swear that boy has the attention span of a squirrel sometimes.
    "Club?" asked Zayn.
    We all quickly agreed and went to get ready.

    "I'm sorry that we didn't really talk about it but I just finally realized like much my life would suck without you," Nicole said smiling.
    I leaned in and kissed her.
    "It's okay love. I'm glad that's what you decided."

    She got up and left to go get ready for the club.
    2 hours later she came back dressed in almost the exact same thing I was wearing.
    I looked at her and she immediately started laughing.
    "I'll go change if you want," she said.

    I didn't look much like a clubbing outfit and I think she may have done it on purpose but it was cute.
    I was about to kiss her when my phone started ringing.
    "Hello?"
    Niall! Do you happen to be with Nicole or is she out with Harry?" my dad asked.
    "Why Ha-- hold on. She's right here. Why?"
    "We're going out to a family dinner."
    "Family?!"
    "You know what I meant," said my dad.
    "No. Quite frankly I didn't."
    "Niall!"
    "Whatever. What time?"
    "20 minutes?"
    "I guess. Bye."
    I immediately hung up before he could say anything.
    "Change of plans boys. Me and Nicole have a stupid dinner. See you later."
    We got in my car and drove to the restaurant.
    "Hey Mom," said Nicole.
    "Hey guys," I replied and sat down.
    I looked at Nicole and she gave me a face.
    For some reason I found it amusing and I started laughing. She soon joined me and we were laughing so hard.
    "Everything okay?" Terry asked.
    "Yep!" Nicole replied

    "Hey what's up?" I said looking at Harry.
    "You know what your options are right?"
    "Haz, what are you talking about?"
    "I want to be with you."

    "Yeah, but you don't need to ruin your mum's relationship if you were with me. Niall loves you but he'd get over it. I won't. Nicole, your mum must be happy if she's introducing Niall and his dad to you. "
    "YEAH WELL NIALL'S DAD ISN'T MY DAD. SHE WAS HAPPY WITH HIM!"
    That's when I started crying hysterically. Harry pulled over the car and opened his arms for a hug. I hugged him and we just sat there. We sat there for a good 30 seconds before he looked at me.
    We both leaned in and soon enough we had kissed.
    "I'm sorry if I upset you. I just don't want you to get hurt."
    "What are you talking about?" I asked.
    "Well I just don't want you to go ahead with this plan and then end up getting hurt and then you can't fix what you did to your mum. "
    I leaned in real close to Harry and whispered, "Thanks Hazza."
    We kissed again and he whispered back, "But if you think Nial's worth it then go for it. But I just want to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into."
    "We should go get the food before they wonder where we are," I said.
    Just then I got a text
    Hey babe! where r u guys? i miss u & i want some food ~niall xx
    Lots of traffic sorry! we just go there now ~nicole xx
    I couldn't keep lying to Niall. I couldn't keep hurting Harry with all these mixed signals. I love Niall, but I'm starting to wonder if I love Harry too..
    When we got back to the boy's flat Niall just kept staring at me. He even stared when he was eatting. That's a big deal. Even all of the boys were staring. So I decided to text the only boy that would tell me

    Zayn told Louis about u & harry. louis hinted it at niall. he might've picked up on it. i don't know. talk to niall. ~liam
    Even if Niall didn't pick up on it, I needed to tell him exactly what happened even if that meant losing him for good. I can't handle lying to the one I love.

    Should I kiss her hello? Should I hug her? Should I tell my dad she’s my dream girl and that he can’t date this woman?
    “Hey Nicole,” I said and got up and kissed her on the cheek.
    Wow she looked absolutely gorgeous.
    “Hey” she started to blush.
    “You two know each other?” asked Terry.
    I was speechless. I stared at Nicole and she gave me a confused look.
    “I like Niall’s friend Harry. So we’ve been spending time together,” she said.
    NICOLE’S POV
    “I like Niall’s friend Harry. So we’ve been spending time together.”
    I was great. Niall smiled at me and laughed to himself.
    \After an hour of torchure we were finally allowed to leave and Niall followed me to his car. He made sure our parents were nowhere in sight and leaned in to kiss me.
    “Babe. What are we gonna do?!”
    I was thinking the same.
    “We need to sabotage their relationship..” Oh my god. I can’t believe those words came out of my mouth.
    “Come on, love. Let’s go to the flat.”
    Once we saw the boys we explained what just had happened. I saw Harry form a smile for the first time since I rejected him. It made me smile. Liam must’ve noticed because he looked back and forth between Harry and me and laughed. Zayn caught on and did the same. Louis and Niall were so clueless so they joined in laughing.
    “So what are you going to do?” said Harry.
    “You should totally sabotage their relationship. You both don’t like the idea of them dating and you guys are a cute couple, so why not?” said Zayn.

    He hung up and went back to kissing. He stopped again.
    “Listen, Nicole. I can’t hang out tonight if that’s okay with you. I have to meet my dad’s stupid girlfriend. Is it okay if you hang out with the boys?” Niall had a very sad face so I quickly agreed.
    “Sure!” I said. Honestly, we only had a few more days left to be with each other. It was fine anyway I had a dinner date with my mom.
    He smiled at me. I smiled back at him and we started laughing hysterically.
    I love Niall. I would make it work with him.
    He got down on one knee and said: “Will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?”
    I started laughing which made him laugh too. I nodded and kissed him.
    When I opened my eyes again I thought it was Harry.
    I was kissing Niall, thinking about Harry.
    Author's note: poor Niall:( Team Niall or Team Harry? Sorry if this chapter was really boring I thought it was necessary. Pretty ironic that they both have dates with their parents.. hm.. I wonder

    Chapter 4 Part 1
    Nicole's POV
    I was so glad I fixed the Harry problem. I was over it. I decided to call Niall back.
    “Hey love,” he answered on the second ring.
    “Hey!!”
    “Meet us at Nandos?!”
    “Of course! But I have to go home and shower.”
    “Why? Where are you?” Niall questioned.
    “I was at your..” Oh my god I almost just told him. “..favorite place: Starbucks, duh!”
    I started to panick. “Oh okay even though that’s not my favorite place. They don’t serve a wide variety food. It’s not my style.”
    “Oh right!” I laughed. “Well I gotta go! See you in about an hour?”
    “Well we’re going to Nandos now so I guess meet us at my flat.”
    I hung up. I was totally stressing about what happened with Harry. I don’t understand why! I like Niall! Not Harry!
    I entered the hotel room and was greeted by my mom. She was cuddling on the couch with some guy who I guess was her date. Ew, he slept over.
    “MOM!”
    “WHAT?! Oh hi honey. This is Bobby, my date. This is my daughter, Nicole.”
    “Hi. Well I’m going to shower and then I’m going out.”
    I didn’t wait for her to reply I just left.
    I took a shower and put on light wash skinny jeans and a purple crop top. I curled my hair and put a little bit of makeup and then wore black flip flops.
    “I’m leaving. Bye,” I said.
    “Hold on. Nicole, right? I can call my son he can show you around London. Him and his four friends. They’re around your age,” Bobby or whatever his name was said.
    “Cool. But no thanks.”
    I slammed the door and left. I hated that guy. Thank god we were leaving in two days. I was sad leaving Harry, but I’d rather my mom be done with this guy. Wait did I just admit to being sad leaving Harry?
    I saw the boys walking home from Nandos. It was Harry, Niall, and Zayn.
    “Need a lift?!” I yelled.
    Harry was the only one who didn’t turn to look at me.
    They all hopped in and Niall kissed me.
    We drove to Niall and Harry’s flat.
    “VAS HAPPENIN’!” yelled Zayn while running into the boy’s flat.
    “ZAYN!!!” yelled Louis who attacked Zayn and soon every boy was attacking each other.
    Niall grabbed me and pulled him into his room.
    “Hey, love.” He leaned in and kissed me. That’s when I felt the fireworks.
    We were making out when he suddenly stopped
