Same as in Vietnam. Vietnam's slightly better than Borneo (they have school and clean water, but they don't make much money and they don't really have hot water...not that they really need it unless it's for cooking) and people there make less than a dollar a day, kids, if they're not at school, they're helping their parents either work in the fields (if they have one), maintain the shop (if they have one), or just take care of each other if the parents are out working. And I'm talking about kids who are as young as like 4 or 5. But everyone there is happy too.
But I'm not trying to say that we don't have our own problems. XxXxPerfectlyImperfectXxXx is right because sometimes you can't say that because you don't know the person's circumstances. Actually, with more freedom and more tools at our hands (e.x. the Internet) comes more problems so yeah :T
But I do see what you're saying though and I do agree. I also agree that people do complain about the smallest things (like how someone's outfit isn't matching and so on).

Not an intense fan of 1D, but I do like them and their music so I have to say this: what on earth did he do to deserve this? Answer? Nothing other than that he was part of a really famous band and even /that/ answer is irrelevant. No one deserves any type of hate, whether you're famous or not :T

True :T But sadly, the thing is, most people who send those hateful things don't care. Even if you tried to have a rational talk with them and asked them how'd they'd feel, they'd more or less say "I don't care and if I do, I'll torture them 'till hell and make them wish they'd never been born."
They also never have, had, or (in most cases) will realize what it's like to receive hateful comments like the ones they send. :T
And sadly, each generation's getting worse. I'm not trying to be the one who's like "OMG. LOOK AT HOW RESPECTFUL AND NICE MY GENERATION IS AND HOW MEAN AND DISRESPECTFUL THE NEWER GENERATION IS" but even though a good amount of our generation's pretty horrible, a good amount of the newer generation is worse because they learn it from everything they see EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
This needs to be dealt with, but no one's willing to deal with it properly (i.e. law enforcement when it comes to someone like you or me or just ordinary people standing for the right thing). So I agree with you a complete 100%

I just think that they thought the world was gonna end on 12/21/12 'cause they just ran out of room on the rock they put the calendar on.
Or, how my friend thinks it, they thought it was gonna end because that was the year the conquistadors were gonna kill them all take over their land, which would be /their/ end. ...Except that conquistadors came much sooner than expected.
