The Story of Us<3
Chapter 1
-Elena's POV-
My alarm went off at 6:20 AM. "Grrrr, what the heck?", I groaned. I shut off my alarm and tried going back to sleep. I couldn't, there was too much on my mind. HE was on my mind. Ever since that one saturday night. We met up at the fair, at some teen dance party going on. He's been my neighbor ever since I first moved here. In Miami. I came from New York so it's a big change for me. He's been my best friend for 9 years. His name is Tyler. The thought of him made me have butterflies in my stomach. Suddenly my eyes began to shut, and I fell asleep again.
*3 hours later*
My phone buzzed. I woke up and looked at it. It was Tyler! He asked, "who is this?" My heart dropped to my stomach. He doesn't have my number anymore. I decided to text him back. "This is Elena!" He texted back in less than a minute. "OMG ELENA I LOVE YOU!!" That defintely made me smile. I decided I would go over to surprise him and hang out. As I was walking, it started pouring rain. So I ran but part of the road was slippery and I slipped. Unfortunately, he was outside to see that and ran towards me. "You've always been the clumsy type." He chuckled, "Here grab my hand." I smiled," Thanks Tyler." Before I could say anything else, he kissed me. "I've been wanting to do that ever since I met you." All I could do was blush and smile like an idiot.

Chapter 4
-Amber's POV-
We ran inside to find no one in the house. "Maybe it was the wind?" Devan said. "Yeah maybe" We took out our books to study for exams the following the week. 2 hours passed until my mom got home. "Hey Devan!" she was always a fan of Devan from the start of our friendship. "Hey mom!" I loved when he called her mom. It made me feel so close to him. I asked "Wanna take a break? You hungry?" "Yeah." We closed our books and put on our jackets. We headed over to get baskin robins and just chill there. There was an awkward silence until he spoke, "I have a question for you." My face went all serious and said okay. "What are you doing next weekend?" "Nothing" He asked if I wanted to catch a movie on friday. I nodded in agreement. I was super excited for next friday now. I just wanted to get exams over with. When we were done, he walked me home. When we reached my house, he pulled me in for a long hug. "I'll be looking forward to our date." he winked at me. Oh boy, he made me melt. That was so cheesy but he did. I smiled and said, "Yeah me too" He then kissed me on the cheek and he walked away. I ran upstairs to my room and texted Samantha everything that happened. She was so happy for me and I couldn't stop smiling. The next few days our classes reviewed for exams. So the week went pretty fast. The weekend came along and had nothing to do so I texted Devan to see if he would want to hang out. It was over 2 hours, no response. All of a sudden my phone started buzzing. My face lit up, it was Devan. It said that he couldn't make it next week and that he was busy. My heart sank. I was super bummed. I texted Samantha to see if she would want to hang that day, but turns out she was busy too. Something seemed suspicious..
Sorry I haven't written in awhile..exams this week:/

-Amber's POV-
My alarm clock woke me up at 7, one hour to get ready and leave for school. I did my daily routine, and put on my outfit. http://www.polyvore.com/schooooool/set?id=42012872. When I got to school, I was looking everywhere for Devan. My eyes lit up when I saw him standing by our group of friends. Samantha shouted, “AMBER, I MISSED YOU!” she ran up and gave me a hug. “I missed you guys, a lot.” I managed to smile; I actually remembered who they were. Devan was in pretty much all of my classes. Part of me was really happy about that, and the other part wasn’t too happy. I was really looking forward to after school. That means I could spend time with Devan. Lunch FINALLY came around. Everyone was talking about some dance coming up, I just looked at them in confusion. What dance?, I thought. “Amber, are you going?” “To the dance? Unless someone asks me no.” Devan looked at me and smiled. For some reason that definitely made me blush. He probably saw because he chuckled a little. The school bell rang for the last hour of the day. I was looking all over the place for Devan. I felt someone’s arm wrap around my waist. I screamed, “Devan-- let me go!” I laughed mid-sentence. “So what do you wanna do today?” Devan asked. “My place, movies and popcorn. Now!” He grabbed my hand while we were walking. When we got to my house, the door was wide open. “What the heck?” I said. All of a sudden there were screams coming from inside.

-Devan's POV-
I have been waiting 2 months just to see her eyes. Amber’s eyes. They were the prettiest blue I have ever seen. I heard her mumble something and I jumped. “Amber?” I said with a little excitement. She was asking if that was her name. “Amber, do you remember who you are?” I asked with hope. My heart sank when she said no. “You have been in the hospital for about 2 months.” I was praying that she would remember me. If she didn’t I would take the time to make new memories with her. When she heard me say that, her jaw dropped. She asked me what had happened the night of the party. “You were pushed down the stairs on accident by some guy. Apparently there was a fire in the house, but someone came back and got you before anything else could happen.” She had tears in her eyes by now. She screamed, “IS EVERYONE ELSE OKAY?!” I smirked. “Yes, everyone is okay.” I think she heard me laughing because she asked why. “I just think it’s cute how you think about everyone else before yourself.” I saw her blushing, which made my heart beat a little faster than usual. There was an awkward silence for a few seconds, when my stomach started growling. I decided to go get some food. “I'm going to go get something to eat, do you want anything?” She smiled. “Yes please! As long as it’s chicken, I’ll eat it!” I always loved that about her. She loved chicken. There was the longest line at KFC. I really wanted to get back to Amber. I was only gone a few minutes, but I still missed her. I felt bad that I had to leave her so quickly right after she just woke up. When I got back, we made this deal where we would hang out every day she got back to school. I wanted to do it so it would make her feel safe. I was looking forward to spending every moment from now on with her.

I woke up with a really bad headache. I started mumbling, when a guy I haven't seen before was startled. "Amber?" he said. Was that my name? I thought. Or so I thought. The guy heard me say that, and asked me if I remembered who I was. "No, where am I?" I asked. He introduced himself as Devan. He looked very familiar and it was making my angry that I didn't know who he was. "How long have I been here?" "About two months." My jaw dropped when I heard how long I was there. "What exactly happened to me?" I really wanted to know because I didn't remember anything from that night at the party. "You were pushed down the stairs on accident by some guy. Apparently there was a fire in the house, but someone came back and got you before anything else could happen." "IS EVERYONE ELSE OKAY?!" He smirked. I was confused, I really wanted to know if I was the only one who was hurt. "Yes, everyone else is okay." He started chuckling in the middle of his sentence. "Why are you laughing?" "I just think it's cute how you think about everyone else before you think about yourself." I think he might have seen me blush because he smiled. Oh he was so cute when he smiled. Wait! What am I doing? I barely even know this guy and I already think he's cute? SNAP OUT OF IT! But I couldn't. "I'm going to go get something to eat, do you want anything?" I smiled. "Yes please! Anything with chicken." I giggled. I still had my craving for chicken all the time. I'm so glad that hasn't changed. What seemed to be hours, Devan came back. I swear we talked for hours before he left. We made an agreement, for when I got out of the hospital, we would hang out every day after school to make sure I would be safe. I was so looking forward to leave the hospital and get back in school. I just never thought I would be taking it back again.
