I had to write a poem for my English class.
And my friend told me to post it on witty,
So I thought, "why not?"
Here goes nothing
She stands up on the altar, high
Next to the picture-perfect bride
On the outside she smiles, but inside she cries
All because of the boy with the most gorgeous green eyes
Isabelle remains tall and still pretends
Even though she knows her world will end
For she had hoped to be more than friends
He on the other hand, never did intend
For they were best friends since they were eight
They agreed that it was a bit too cliché to date
But now it’s herself she will forever hate
She waited this long, far too late
Secretly he has loved her as well
The truth is what he wants to tell
For her personality, his heart has fell
And for the beauty of his dear Isabelle
For he has loved her since they were eight
He knew she never wanted to date
After a while he stopped believing in fate
That is why he was marrying Kate
“I love you, Isabelle,” he wants to cry
But he figures it’s better to keep it inside
As they say their “I Do’s” she says her goodbyes
To the boy with the most gorgeous green eyes

I really hate the feeling
of missing someone.
They are never out of your head.
They stay on your mind 24/7.
They never leave and you can’t help it.
Not being able to see them or even talk to them
makes your day worse than it already is.
The sad thing is that they might not even be missing you too.
It might be only one sided.
It make you over think,
wondering if they are having fun without you,
or actually enjoy not having you around
to drag them down.
