why is it that were always told not to get tattoos at a young age because we “will regret it later on” when we are basically told to choose a career path by age 18? i’d rather be 40 years old with a tattoo that meant something to me when i was young than be 40 years old not wanting to get out of bed to go to a job that i hate because i was forced to decide on a career in my teens

it started snowing when we were all in class and i tried to alert everyone but instead of saying "it's snowing!" the words that came out of my mouth were, "tHE SKY IS DOING THE THING, YOU GUYS!!!"

So Today,
I was scrolling through the top quotes
just like any other day.
When a quote caught my eye
it was a quote by a Witty Boy name
Harrison
He wrote the quote telling about how he told his parents he was straight. To see how they would react. The father said "Welcome to the family, son."
And the mother cried tears of joy.
He realized his family didn't accept him. At the botton (Now you should know. I didn't think it could of gotten any worse) He said he will see god, his grandma, and Sadie. Tomorrow (which was today)
I have never been so disgusted. I went to his profile to see if he has wrote a quote sense then. He hasn't I pray to god that he didn't go through with it, that he knows someone (us wittians) love him for him.! Everyone should be accepted in this world. Everyone has a purpose. If he did go through with it.

i have faith in humanity.
horrible things happen. 9/11, school shootings, world wars, the holocaust, the bombings in Boston. and these horrible things are caused by evil people, or ignorant people, or stupid people, or people who are easily convinced and can't stand up for themselves. but i have faith in humanity. i have faith in humanity because an old man walked up to me when i was ten years old, twirling around in a long red dress, and he told me that i should dance like that even when i grow up because the sun shines out of my footsteps. i have faith in humanity because when i was twelve and my dad was getting sicker and sicker, my english teacher gave me hot chocolate when i showed up at school at seven o'clock, and a nurse in the hospital who i didn't even know kissed me on the cheek and told me that she didn't believe in god, but she was going to pray for us anyway. i have faith in humanity because when i was thirteen and my dad was dying, my friends threw me a surprise birthday party because i was too busy to have one. (my dad cried when he found out.) i have faith in humanity because when my dad got a lung transplant that saved his life, my social studies teacher offered me a place to stay as my whole family flew across the country to get him to the hospital, and when i visited the transplant unit, a boy my age touched my cheek and told me that he wished us all the best, really, and that he hoped i'd remember how to smile as my dad remembered how to breathe. i have faith in humanity because i am a human and i know that i'd rather feed the seagulls on the beach than hurt anyone. i have faith in humanity because my mum has raised me and my sister with the belief that you should never squash a bug when you can save it. i have faith in humanity because this is only some of the kindness i have seen in this world, in these people. kindness is real, love is real, hope is real, selflessness is real, gentleness is real.
i have faith in humanity, and you should, too.

i was on tumblr and i just saw a picture of a woman with a poem tattooed onto her
want to know why that's special?
I wrote that poem and posted it on tumblr six months ago.
my poetry impacted her to the point where she wanted to have it permanently on her skin. it will be with her forever; when she gets married, it will be there, when she has children, it will be there. it meant that much to her.
and i am speechless.
