First off, the Pope isn't worshiped, he is respected. The Pope is here CHOSEN BY GOD to guide us on Earth because Jesus isn't in his human form to do so. Tens of thousands of people were in Italy to see him so, people do agree with me. The Pope is suppose to be an inspiration. He is the highest in the church. Okay? I doubt you're a Catholic, so I don't think you're ridiculous response matter; which didn't affect me at all - Cammie

No, I am currently not Catholic, however I was raised Catholic so I know what happens in the Church. You may be worshiping him without even knowing so, the Dictionary definition of worship is to honor someone, to love someone, to give them all due respect. Also when I responded to you, I provided much evidence from the BIBLE, which proves about the Pope being false, and you my dear didn't provide 1 single quote from the Bible to prove your point. What I am trying to say is, no matter which type of Catholic/Christian you are, the BIBLE is the holy book written by God himself, I understand why you wouldn't agree with me, You have been raised Catholic, and you were taught to never test your belief. But the BIBLE says this, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" 1 John 4:1, You say that the Pope is chosen by God, how do you know? Did God tell you so? The Pope is selected by The College of Cardinals basically they elect the new pope. The college of Cardinals are not God. Also you say Jesus isn't in this earth so he isn't able to guide us, well lets look at what Jesus himself has to say to that, " And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."-Matthew 28:20 Jesus said that he is with us, ALWAYS! Sure maybe not in human form, but by his holy spirit he is with us. He speaks to us, he guides us, and helps us and if you haven't heard from him, than that means you are doing something wrong. You don't believe me? Look at this "For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. " -Job 33:14, Please Cammie, do not harden your heart, open it up to what you read and consider that you may be wrong. Let me ask you this, Have you ever had something bad happen and you prayed to God, but got no response? Look at what the Holy Book of God says "We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will." John 9:31, One more thing, you said Tens of thousands of people were in italy to see him, well guess what Millions of Muslims visit Faisal Mosque each year. So does this mean their belief is right? No. Cammie please do not consider my words to be harsh or judgemental. I am not judging you at all! I only wrote you this because I love you, since you are a child of God. I want you to do what is right in God's eyes. Not in you parents eyes, or in that matter yours. My last words to you is this, READ THE BIBLE!! it is the only way you could know what the truth is. You said that the Pope is supposed to guide you, well guess what The Pope has probably memorized the BIBLE, so why won't you read it?

What I said before HE IS NOT WORSHIP. HE IS RESPECTED. I go to a Catholic school so I have read bible passages many times. Can I ask you.. Why you gave up in faith? The definition of the Pope is head of the Roman Cathoic Church. And there is 1.2 billion Catholics. Look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA3WUgFhcXQ Look at all the people there, shouting his name, blessing him, and crying for him. Since we aren't worshiping the Pope, there is no one higher than god.

You said that you read BIBLE passages, but yet you haven't mentioned one sentence of the BIBLE instead you attempted to show me evidence through You Tube. There are also 1.5 Billion Muslims, does this mean they are right? Also the video just showed people cheering for him. May I ask why? What has he ever done to help people? In the video I saw him kissing the cloth, why? It is simply a cloth, nothing more. Also the man next to him said "the holy father Francis" and let me tell you this, no one on this planet is holy, and no one will ever be. Also Jesus said" call no one father, for your father is in heaven".

I'm showing you real life edvinence. I didn't google Bible versus like you did. They cheered for them because they have HOPE for him. Have many times do I have to say we respect them.
