Chapter 8
I just realized that i find myself walking to Justin's house a lot in the past two days. I took a quick shower, and put sweatpants on. They said they'd be gone for a while, so i wanted to be comfy. I wonder if Justin will hang out with us. Oh well, i got to the door and Rang the doorbell. Megan answered and said "Perfect Timing! you have my cell for emergencies and my parents will be home between 10 and 12. Maddies in her room, Its on the other end of the hallway. Theres some mac and cheese in the fridge, have Justin help you, i gotta run! have fun!" Well, time to go find maddie i guess. i walked up the stairs , Justin'sdoor was shut, i really wanted to know why but thats not why im here. I knocked on her door before i came in, "hi maddie!" "RACHEL! wanna play polly pockets with me? You can be my sister, and you can be older so you can have a convertable!" aw how cute little kids are. We played Polly pockets for about an hour, im not gonna lie, it was actually kind of fun. "rachel, im hungry" . "wanna make dinner? we can make mac and cheese! " She said yes, and said we should ask justin if he wanted any. we went to his room, and knocked, "what?" he answered. "were making dinner, you can come and help, and eat if you want" with that, he opened the door and smiled, "hey rachel. Hey maddie. Lets go make dinner" Maddie led the way downstairs, me and justin followed. He put his arm around me and asked how it was going, I told him we played polly pockets for a long time. "im sure she loved that. " and squeezed my nose. After dinner, it was starting to get late around 7. Justin said she usually goes to bed around 8:30. We put on Cinderella, i watched it with her, justin went back upstairs to do who knows. She loved Cinderella. i told her it was bed time, we went upstairs and i let herchange, and then we went into the bathroom so she could brush her teeth. I tucked her into the covers when she begged me to tell her a bedtime story. I told her one about a beautiful princess, before i got halfway through the story, she was asleep. I wasn't sure what i should do next, i didn't know if i should talk to justin or just go down stairs and lay down. I decided to lay down if he wanted to talk to me, he'd talk to me but instead hes in his room doing whatever. "rachel, wake up." i was laying on the couch, i looked up to see Justin. "come upstairs." "what time is it?" "its only nine rach, come on. I unpacked everything, i want you to see it, you can sleep after if you want. Be quiet, Maddie's sleeping" I was seriously half asleep while walking up the stairs. I almost tripped, but he caught me, "jeez rachel, you really are tired." i smiled. He put his hands around my eyes, "shhh, its a suprise" he opened the door and closed it, then uncovered my eyes. "omg justin, it looks great! i love it. " i looked around for the picture frame, it wasn't there. Then i saw it. The glass was broken, it was in the garbage can. Good. "wanna go watch a movie?" and thats what we did. he put his arm around me, and i cuddled up to him, and fell asleep. Around two hours later, i looked at the clock it was 11, he was sleeping. I got up and decided i should clean up the kitchen from dinner, i quickly got lose of Justin's Grasp and started to clean up. A half hour later, The parents came home, and gave me 60 $ for babysitting! wow! "she was great, i hope she had a good time" and with that i took that same path, back home.
